Never underestimate an angry pregnant woman, my god you have been on the couch for the last two nights and she's hardly said a word to you.
Another day of work, you walk into your bedroom and she's laying in bed scrolling through her phone
"Anything interesting?"
"Hmmphh"
"Baby I'm so sorry I totally forgot I was in the middle of grading papers"
"I was humiliated"
"I know what can I do to make it up to you?"
"Your gonna take me back to the store and apologise to them and tell them I am not a thief"
"Okay, I guess I can do that"
"No guessing Robert I looked at your timetable for today and your last class finishes at 3pm I will meet you outside the baby shop I was arrested at, I don't need to tell you the name do I! I mean you could just look it up on the police report"
"I will be there I promise"
You move in closer to her "Can I have a kiss?"
"Don't push it" you move away
"Fine, I love you i'm going to work"
"Hmmmmphhh"
You laugh at her and then make your way out to work you use the hands free in the car and call your bank and have them add her name on to your account so that you don't have a repeat of the other day.
Walking through the College and the Chancellor is waiting by your class and honestly you are totally sick of seeing this guy
"Mr Downey I thought we agreed that your partner would not be attending the staff event tomorrow night?"
"She's not"
"You are the talk of the place, how everyone can not wait to see who your wife is"
"She's not my wife for one and she's not coming tomorrow, she sorting the nursery out"
"Well you need to change your RSVP and remove wife because it's been accepted"
"It's probably an error but I can assure you that tomorrow Mercedes will be spending the night in the nursery building things and decorating like she has been doing the last few nights"
"Okay, Sorry about this"
"It's fine, now if you'll excuse me I have a class to prepare for"
"Of course"
Cheeky bastard he should be lucky that I even still work here and also fund the damn place. Whatever you have a class.
MERCEDES POV
"Yes please I want someone ASAP! I have a lot of baby furniture that needs to be built for me to be able to start decorating properly"
'Of course we can get someone out to you tomorrow morning?'
"Perfect!" you sort through the address and the price "See you Tomorrow"
Things were finally okay, your hormones were driving you insane but you knew you were lucky to have Rob as your partner, you knew how much he loved you and how nothing would come between you both.
Your phone rings "Robbie" your actually exited to hear from him
"You don't hate me?"
