"Amanda, what exactly are we doing?" Amelia asked as Amanda was leading the other Allied children through the woods.

"Dudes, we need to get away from the camp for a while and just hang out," Amanda answered. "I'm sick of hearing about all these battle plans. We just need to go out and enjoy nature."

Allison was swatting at the air as mosquitoes swarmed around her. "Nature seems to believe zhat mosquitoes can just come and bite me," she stated. "I can't stand it!"

"Besides, I heard Baba say that the Axis powers were in the area," Chen added. "What if we get captured by them, aru?"

"You guys worry too much," Amanda said with her American smile on her face. "Besides, if we do run into the Axis powers, we've got Natie with us."

"Fair point," Amelia, Allison and Chen spoke at the same time before looking back at the tall Russian girl that was walking behind them. Besides, what were the odds that they would run into the Axis powers? So far in the war, none of the girls had actually seen their supposed enemies and they doubted that they would actually see their foes anytime soon.

Meanwhile, on the other side of the island, the Axis children were also walking outside the safety of their camp grounds. "Katrina, I'm tired," Rose moaned as they walked. "And my feet hurt. I want to go back to camp and eat."

"I am curious Katrina-chan, what exactry are we doing out here?" Naomi asked the German girl that was leading them.

"Ve are searching around the camp in case the Allies attack," Katrina answered. "I overheard Vati talking to Japan und Italy about hov the Allies could be nearby. If ve can find their camp, then that vould give us an advantage in the var."

"I was unaware the Arries were nearby. So you are saying ve shourd engage in combat with them?"

Katrina shook her head. "Nein. Ve just figure out vhere they are and then tell our Vaters vhat ve found."

Naomi nodded. "Hai, understood."

Suddenly, Katrina heard someone's voice heading their way. "Quick, duck down," Katrina instructed, pulling Naomi down to the ground so they could hide in a bush. Rose looked around frantically, trying to figure out where Katrina and Naomi had disappeared to.

"Naomi? Katrina? Where did you go?" Rose asked as she looked around. Before she could say anything else, Rose had a hand cover her mouth and she was pulled down into a bush.

As the Axis girls sat in silence as they heard people go right by them. "Dude, this looks like perfect spot to set up for our camp site," Amanda stated as she placed her bag on the ground. The Axis girls peaked through the bushes to see the Allied girls were there and from the looks of it they were setting up a tent for camping.

"Vhat in the vorld are they doing?" Katrina whispered.

"It rook rikes they are setting up a camp site," Naomi whispered back.

That's when Rose's stomach started to growl. The Allied girls all stopped setting up their camp and looked around, trying to figure where that noise had come from. "Uh was that one of you guys' stomach?" Amanda asked.

"No, I don't believe that was any of us," Amelia stated. "And if it wasn't us, then that means someone else is nearby."

Rose gulped nervously as she began to shake in fear. "I'm scared," Rose whispered as she shook in fear.

The Allied girls noticed that there was a shaking bush and went to investigate. Natie grabbed the upped part of the bush and lifted it up to reveal the Axis girls crouched down on the ground. "I believe I found the source of the growling noise, da?" Natie told the others.

Rose then began to cry. "Please don't hurt me! I'm just a little girl!" Rose begged.

Katrina sighed as Rose begged. "Rose, you're not helping," Katrina muttered.

Besides the crying that came from Rose, everyone else was silent. Then Chen was the one who broke the silence and ran to hug Naomi, surprising everyone. "It is so good to see you again, aru!" Chen said as she hugged Naomi.

"Prease, ret go of me Chen," Naomi told the older girl. "I cannot breath."

Chen quickly released her cousin and allowed her to catch her breath. "Sorry, aru," Chen apologized. "It's just been so long since I've seen you. You have grown."

Naomi looked at the ground nervously, not really sure how to respond. She was glad to see her cousin again but at the same time she was sad because they were now suppose to be enemies. That didn't seem to stop Amanda from coming up to talk to Naomi.

"What's up Naomi?" Amanda asked the Japanese girl.

"Oh, herro Amanda-chan."

Amelia looked at the scene in confusion. How was Chen and Amanda able to talk to Naomi so casually? It was as if the war wasn't effecting them at all.

Before long, Rose was in a conversation with Allison. "You're dress is so pretty," Rose complimented.

"You really zhink so?" Allison asked as she twirled around.

"Si, you look very pretty in it."

"Well zhank you."

What in the world is going on here? Amelia thought. Everyone seems to be carrying on a conversation. It doesn't make sense.

That's when Amelia noticed Katrina staring at the scene as well and was just as confused. Amelia then sighed. "Why not?" Amelia sighed as she walked over to Katrina. "Hello."

Katrina turned to look at Amelia and then looked away. "...Hallo." Katrina muttered under her breath.

"You know what this reminds me of?" Amelia asked Katrina, making the girl look back at Amelia. "Father told me how during the Great War, on Christmas, your Father and my Father decided to have a cease-fire and play a game of football."

"Oh, ja. Vati told me about that," Katrina said.

Before long, all the girls were sitting around a campfire talking to one another. Naomi, Chen and Amanda were catching up with each, Rose, Allison and Natie were fixing each others' hair, and Amelia and Katrina were talking about different stories they had been told.

Soon there was someone walking towards the campsite. Amanda put the fire out and listened as the sound of footsteps came by. "Amanda? Dudette where are you?" America called out as he and the other Allies searched for their kids.

From the other side of the campsite, the Axis powers were searching for their kids as well. "Rose? Where are you bambina?" Italy called out.

"Dang, our Dads are looking for us," Amanda whispered.

"Looks like we need to part ways with each other," Allison stated.

The girls said their farewells and made it back to their parents without and confrontation between the two groups.
