"Don't you dare!" shouted a woman, and before Rufus could cut Mark half, an arrow hit his hand which dropped the sword. "There is only one person who will die today and it's gonna be you."
"And how are you going to do that?" laughed Rufus as he looked at two women and a man standing in the doorway.
It was Sydra with Skyrim and Gloom, standing there. Sydra was pointing the arrow at Rufus and she pulled her bow's string back to alarm him that she wouldn't hesitate to kill him. Rufus quickly bent down to grab his sword from the floor with his other hand then put his sword against Mark's throat from his left, but he kept looking at the three of them. Nobody moved and Rufus just looked at them, but then he felt something grabbing onto his hands and legs. He looked down at his legs and he saw as ivy was around his legs.
"You are so stupid," said Rufus as he looked back up at Sydra, Skyrim, and Gloom
Rufus burnt the ivy off of his arms, then cut the ones on his legs, which caused Gloom to collapse on the floor and scream. The others kneeled down beside him worriedly.
"Gloom, what's wrong?" asked Skyrim.
"It looks like I know your friend better than you." laughed Rufus again then put the sword back to Mark's neck. "Your friend is a nature wizard, his power comes from the plants and flowers. If it gets hurt, your friend loses his power and energy."
Sydra angrily looked at Rufus and stood up to shoot him again with an arrow, but Rufus picked her up and threw her to the wall.
"Sydra!" shouted Skyrim then with fearful eyes she looked at Rufus because she knew she was next.
"Rufus. Leave them alone. I'm your opponent not them." said Mark, as he slightly turned his head to Rufus.
"You're right," said Rufus and let Mark stand up.
Mark grabbed his sword from the floor and watched as Rufus took a few steps back wielding his sword in his hand.
"Skyrim, keep an eye on the others and Jack," said Mark as he kept looking at Rufus.
Rufus chuckled then with his sword he started running towards Mark. They started sword fighting again, but they both used their power too. While Mark tried to shoot Rufus he simply started flying around in the room so it was harder for Mark to actually hit him. Skyrim looked at Gloom, who was still in pain, then he looked at Jack, who was at the other side of the room.
"Don't worry. You're going to be fine," said Skyrim, smiling at Gloom, to cheer him up a little. "I need to bring Jack here."
Gloom nodded and Skyrim quickly stood up to run over to Jack. She grabbed him under his arms, but he was heavier than Skyrim thought. She levitated him with her power and safely put him next to Gloom. Then she looked at Sydra, but she saw as the fake Jack was standing beside her with a dagger and tried to kill her.
"No!" shouted Skyrim and grabbed Sydra's bow from the ground, shooting the fake Jack and the arrow went through right at his heart.
The fake Jack looked at the arrow then up at Skyrim with a big grin on his face. He turned into purple smoke and the arrow fell on the floor. Skyrim's breath was taken away when she felt something behind her, but she didn't have time to react and look back. Someone grabbed her throat from behind and tried to strangle her, but she tried to resist it.
"You really thought you can kill me?" whispered Jack in her ears. "Silly."
Skyrim tried to get his hands off of her neck, but he was too strong for her. She then tilted her head and kicked Jack's face, who let her free. She stepped away from him as she grabbed her white fans and with a quick spin she cut Jack's chest. He looked up at her again, smiling widely, then stepped closer. Skyrim was shaking because the fake Jack didn't seem to be in pain at all and she didn't know what to do against him.
"You can try this over and over again, but it's useless." said the fake Jack, looking down at his wound, which healed up quickly. "I'm not gonna die unless Rufus dies."
Skyrim's eyes widened, but just for a second. She looked at Mark and it seemed that Mark was winning because he could finally shoot Rufus with a fireball causing the wizard to fall on the floor. She then looked back at the fake Jack who was still smiling at her. She launched herself at him and with the edge of her white fans, she cut him. She tried to leave as many cuts on Jack's body as she could, even if she knew it was useless. She won't be able to kill him, but at least she could keep him away from her friends. She tried so hard, but Jack was fast and strong. He dodged or blocked some of her attacks and Skyrim was getting tired with each attacking attempt. She then stopped for a moment just to watch the fake Jack and as his wounds healed.
"Give up," said Jack.
Skyrim was at the point to give up, but then she saw ivy on the ground again, slowly grabbing onto Jack's legs and arms, without him realizing it. Skyrim smiled at him and raised her fans in the air and her sudden confidence surprised the fake Jack.
"Never." and with that, she spin jumped, and cut his head off, which fell on the ground. "Even if you can't die, it will take you longer to attach your head back."
She looked at Gloom who now looked a bit better, but he was still weak a little. He sat up and Skyrim kneeled beside him. She hugged him which surprised Gloom, but he hugged her back.
"Thank you," whispered Skyrim.
They heard movement from behind them and as they looked there they saw that Sydra was awake as well, so Skyrim helped her to get over to the boys. Sydra dropped herself beside them, when they heard a sword, hitting the stone floor. Mark was on the ground, his sword at the other side of the room, and Rufus was standing in front of him pointing his sword at Mark's throat.
"It's over Mark. Give up," said Rufus. "You're gonna die for real this time."
"M-Mark," mumbled Jack, but only Skyrim and the others heard him.
Jack opened his eyes and sit up, rubbing his head from the pain. As he opened his eyes he saw Mark on the ground and that Rufus raised his hand. The castle started shaking and the ceiling was about to collapse right onto Mark, who worriedly looked up as well. Debris fell from above him and soon big stones as well.
"MARK!" shouted Jack, quickly standing up and running over to him and he reached him right before the stones fell on them.
Dust and smoke filled the room and nobody could see what happened, that if they survived or not.
"Idiot," said Rufus as he turned around, leaving.
