The ride

I'm worried about Maya. She's still unconscious from the gunshot. I think she will be ok, but my medical knowledge isn't great. I hope she wakes up soon. I wrapped my sweater around the wound, which should help, but I'm still worried. I swear, this van has to be speeding. We are probably going 85 mph on an ICY road. The men up front (seperated by a divider with a small window) no longer have thier guns, now they have swords. I mean, who uses swords anymore? Those are from like 1292 when the colonists arrived at Jamestown. So yeah, swords? Well, I found some guns back here, but none are loaded and I can't find ammo. So, I grabbed a sword from a corner of the van. The van has some really weird stuff in it. Throwing knives, dried foods, water canteens, and a bunch of other stuff. I grabbed the canteen,(which handily had water in it) and the dried food. I guess I might not need it, but better safe then sorry. Then, I realized Maya was awake.

She groaned, and I asked her, "are you ok?"

She replied,"Well it definitely hurts, but I think I'm ok."

 "good."

Maya said," Is it just me, or are we going REALLY fast?"

"It's not just you." I said. All of a sudden, I realized that we were swerving. You know, like a roller coaster, but with a 86.34% chance of fiery explosion and death. Then, I realized we were across both lanes of the interstate, and we were about to fly into the traffic in the other side of the road. That's when I realized we were about to hit a dog. SMASH!!! We hit the dog, and then I blacked out.
