- Bright's POV -

It's been eighty-four years.

Just kidding. I just passed by a house watching a really, really old movie called TItanic.

I honestly don't know how long it's been since the last time I saw Win. I was exiled into Anyparthias - a vast land of nothingness for what I can say was a really long time.

Or maybe it just felt like it. Every human second I spent away from Win felt like years.

I now stand at the last place where I last saw Win but this place has drastically changed. It's no longer a playground park but rather, a tall condominium building is erected in its place now. Win's favorite appliance store across the road is also nowhere to be found. Rather, a cafe stands there now.

A group of young people stands in front of it, laughing as they share stories. It's been a while since I heard laughter. It's been a while since I heard my most favorite laugh.

How long have I been gone?

Was Win alone all this time?

A part of me feels sad thinking that Win hasn't had anyone to accompany him for the time I was gone. Yet a bigger part of me feels a little bit jealous thinking that there might be. Win is the type of creature that cannot be alone. He's always wanting company and I was more than happy to provide him that for eternity but that was taken away from us.

I approach the bus stop and sits there. I look up at the night sky blanketed with stars.

The stars shine bright and twinkle, just like Win's eyes.

Oh, how I miss those eyes.

I look down and sees the red string that Win has tied on my finger. Never once did I remove it. The only thing that has made me survive my exile was the fact that I'll see him again.

Win told me that this red string will bind me to him. And that wherever I am, he will find me.

I waited. I waited for what seemed to be an eternity but he never appeared in front of me.

I waited, but I don't blame him.

I was exiled to a place that cannot be found. Even if he travels around the whole human planet, he won't be able to find me because I wasn't here.

But that hope of him finding me never once faltered. I held onto that hope until I was let go at last.

I don't know where to go.

I don't know where he is.

So, I'll stay here until he comes to me.

Win, please make your magic work. I'll be waiting

- Win's POV -

I sip on my mocha latte as I watch the two women slowly reach for each other's hands. A job well done for me again.

I love it when love wins all the time. It's been a while since the same-sex relationship has been fully accepted in the human world and I feel so happy because at last, couples like Tawan and Thitipoom can now really be who they want to be.

Speaking of those two, I saw them today. Actually, I make it a point to see them every day for the past 52 human years.

I was there when Tawan introduced Thitipoom to his family. It was a year after they got together officially.  Tawan's family loved Thitipoom instantly the moment they met him and even offered to invest in Thitipoom's business for him to expand but he politely declined.
