- Win's POV -

I sat on one of the benches in the park adjacent to Books, Cats, and Me Cafe and Bookstore. My seat is positioned exactly facing the establishment. The gray skies loom all over the city but I smile from ear to ear. Everyone who would look my way might think I'm crazy, but I don't care. When it comes to human love affairs, I am always excited.

Bright is currently not with me but he promised to be back as soon as he finishes.

I observed Thitipoom through the glass windows. He's at the counter, greeting every customer with a huge smile plastered on his face. For a human, he sure has been blessed with ethereal beauty. But more than that, he obviously has a good heart. Before he opened his cafe a while ago, I saw him feeding stray cats behind his shop. Even when he left his house a while ago, I saw him give a homeless kid a meal in a plastic container. Apparently, the kid always waits for him there because the man is good to him and gives him food which will be the only meal he'll have for the day as he begged on the streets. A good-looking man with a huge heart. I felt giddy. I can't wait to match him!

Neen is a graduating Accountancy student. She's an heiress to a huge conglomerate here in this country. But being rich is not her finest quality but rather, it is being kind-hearted. She does multiple charity works for stray animals and spends her free time tutoring street children. What a good combination, right?

To top it all out, Thitipoom actually has a crush on Neen! Talk about destiny, huh?

Storytime!

He met her one time when he visited a friend of his teaching in the university where Neen studies. It was raining and he has no umbrella so he just sat on the stairs in the Business Building, waiting for the rain to stop. He was busy on his phone when he felt three taps on his shoulders. He looked around and saw the most beautiful girl he has ever seen.

Hey! That's not coming from me! That was Thitipoom!

Anyway, back to my story.

He stood up and greeted his girl - the girl. Damn, autocorrect! Don't get me wrong. Again, this was not me. This is all Thitipoom!

So he stood up and greeted the girl with the kindest smile. They wai-d at each other.

"Hello, Phi. Are you waiting for someone? Because you can stay in the student's lounge if you want."

"Oh, it's okay. I'm just waiting for the rain to stop."

Neen just looked at Thitipoom and nodded slightly.

"Oh," he chuckled a little bit and touched his nape, "Uhmm. I forgot my umbrella at home, actually, silly me. And with this kind of weather, booking a taxi is sort of difficult," Thitipoom thought that she might be thinking how stupid he is for not having his umbrella even with the weather forecast this morning so he felt embarrassed.

Neen nodded apprehendingly this time. She reached for something from her bag and revealed an umbrella.

"Here, Phi. You can use mine." She offered with a huge smile which made Thitipoom blush.

He waved his hand as he refused, "Oh no. It's okay, Nong! Go ahead and use it. It will stop soon, anyway," he said as he pointed in the sky.

"Oh please, Phi, I insist." Neen took Thitipoom's right hand and handed him the umbrella, "My driver will fetch me anytime soon anyway so you can have it."

Just as she said it, a white sedan parked in front of them.

"Oh! There it is!" Neen exclaimed as she pointed at the car. She faced Thitipoom again, "Goodbye, Phi! Don't mind about returning it. It's yours now." She waved her hand goodbye as she ran down the stairs and rode the car. Thitipoom wasn't able to do anything else but watch her leave.

After she left, Thitipoom looked at the umbrella in his hand and smiled.

After that event, he went back to the university any time he was free to see Neen again. He always had the umbrella in his bag but unfortunately, he did not see her again.

Not until now.

How did I know all of these? You see, although I may not have the power to manipulate minds, I have the power to read them. I looked through Thitipoom's memories and saw Neen and everything that has transpired that day. Tsk. This guy. It has been months since he last saw her and still, he regarded her as the most beautiful girl he has ever seen.

I have to put the storytime to an end now because I can already see Neen's car. In about a few minutes, I am going to bind their hearts.

I AM SO EXCITED!!!

- Bright's POV -

Another soul has left the mortal realm and I just brought him to Anima Aula.

Now that my job is done, I have to go back and meet Win.

Now that I am back, I looked around. I sensed him here so I went here. I emerged behind what looks like a general merchandise store. I can't just randomly appear in crowded places or else humans might see.

Once I got to the streets, I looked around and in a few seconds, I saw a man emitting red light sitting in the middle of the park. I was about to walk now when I felt droplets of water on my head and shoulders. I looked up and saw the skies crying. I mean, rain. I saw rain.

Ugh! Win's softness is rubbing on me. Psh. 'Skies crying'. I shook my head in disbelief. Really. Win loves the humans so much he's becoming like them. I cringed.

I started walking towards Win but was abruptly stopped when a man bumped into me. He has his satchel bag above his head and clearly in a rush. He looked back at me and said sorry. Just then, the rain poured heavier so he ran again.

Perhaps he did not notice the coldness of my body when he bumped into me. Or maybe he's just one oblivious guy. I don't care. I looked back at Win and there he was drawing his bow and in one swift move, he launched his arrow and it went inside a coffee shop. Ah, yes, Thitipoom. The owner. I made my way towards him again. I want to watch him draw the other arrow.

I have always enjoyed watching Win do it. Why? I honestly don't know.

I just do.

- Win's POV -

"Bull's eye!"

I shouted as I saw my arrow went to Thitipoom's heart. I am now alone in the park since the people scurried away when the rain started to pour.

I don't mind it at all. I can get wet, but that's just about that. It does not really affect my body nor makes my sight blurry or anything. Hence, my perfect love shot to Thitipoom.

And now, to Neen.

I drew my bow and inhaled. I started to count down.

"Bull's eye!"

I was surprised to hear Bright's voice behind me that I accidentally let go of my arrow and turned my head to face him and as soon I did, I realized my mistake.

I spun my head so fast it would have been broken if I am a human and as soon as I saw what happened, my eyes widened and my cupid heart sank.

Because there it was.

My other arrow. The other end of the thread.

In the heart of a human.

In the heart of a man.

A man called Tawan.

I'm dead.

I. AM. DEAD.
