Ashlyn Moon Caswell, a household name to many. The redhead was currently 26. She had participated in a Broadway show straight out of high school. This only made her famous within the Broadway community. While this was hard, it was manageable.

She had since begun writing and producing her own music. It started when she was 22, and she wouldn't trade it for the world. There were, however, less enjoyable sides to her fame.

She loved her fans, but naturally fame came with haters too. Ashlyn had always tried to steer clear of any source of hate, to her or to anyone else, since she could remember. It was harder with so many people knowing her name now.

Then there was her friends and family. She had moved out of her home town, Salt Lake City. She had briefly lived in New York during her run on Broadway, but had since moved to Los Angelos. She missed everyone she had left behind.

There was one person she didn't have to miss, however: Big Red. Her favorite person on the planet and the love of her life. Even so, with her not-so-newfound fame, she felt there was a disconnect between them. Their love, she knew, was unbreakable. There were times when she wondered, though, if her own fame bothered him. Only their friends and family knew they were together.

This all had to leave her mind when she was faced with a task. This particular day, which was windy and all in all your average fall day, she was working on press. Interview after interview, until she was so tired she could barely function (on the bright side of that, however, her boyfriend would gladly hold her until she fell asleep in their apartment).

"You moved from your home town when you were only 19, right?" The interviewer snapped her out of her mindless answers when he spoke again.

"Yeah, that's right," Ashlyn managed a small, nearly genuine smile. After all, it had been an amazing experience.

"The move, I imagine, must have been hard. Leaving friends. How was it?"

"Oh, well, when I first moved I was too excited to think about that for awhile. I keep in touch with everyone. It's hard sometimes, but it's definitely worth it. And everyone's been so supportive. My boyfriend's been so great about it too." With that, the interviewer finished up with closing words. Ashlyn thanked them for having her, before finally making her way home.

"I'm here babe!" She called when she walked into the apartment she shared with her boyfriend.

"Be right there!" He called from their room.

"Mkay," she smiled to herself. She set down her purse, letting herself collapse onto their couch. She sighed, closed her eyes, and began to wind down.

"Hey, how are you?" Big Red sat beside her. She adjusted ever so slightly, setting her head on his lap as she laid there.

"Exhausted," she told him, which was a given. "but there weren't too many... uncomfortable questions today. Most people seemed pretty nice."

"That's really good," he smiled down at her, but he knew she couldn't see through her closed eyes. "Oh, one minute," he got up. She made no effort to move, because she knew exactly what he was leaving to do. He joined her over a minute later. She sat up, forcing her eyes open.

"You really don't have to do this all the time." She laughed lightly.

"You don't get breaks throughout the whole day. And it makes you happy. And that makes me happy too." He handed her a water bottle. He also handed her a spoon. He threw a blanket over the two of them, then set a small container of ice cream between them. "Dig in," he smiled.

"One thing," she returned his smile. She pecked his lips lightly.

"Oh, right. Don't eat yet," he told her. He put his hand on her forehead. "You feel fine. Good."

"I still don't get why you constantly think I have a fever." She giggled, now beginning to eat the ice cream they had.

"I just wanna check. You get so tired. That can cause a fever."

"I know," she nodded.

"And the last thing I would want is you sick." He laid on her shoulder, abandoning his original plan to eat with her.

"I love you. So much," she kissed the top of his head.

"I love you more."

"Sure," she said sarcastically. The conversation was, they knew, cheesy, but that wasn't rare for them. In fact, they often talked about who loved each other more, just as an act of love.

"Get some good rest tonight, Ash."

"I will," she put her arm around him. Silence settled upon them, to which she was glad. After such a long day, that was what she needed. That, and him.
