Ashlyn Caswell was proud to know she was a household name to some. It was surreal, she genuinely couldn't believe it, and whenever she performed she was ecstatic. With the release of "peace," which came out three months prior, along with her previous two albums, she had multiple concerts coming up.

She couldn't stop herself from gushing about the upcoming shows. Most of this was with Big Red, but it was a given he was gushing almost more than her.

"And the set!" Ashlyn gushed. "Just wait until you see it."

"I'm so excited babe." He brought her into a kiss.

"Same. It's not like it's a first, it's just— this is so cool. Everything. Just— thanks for helping me get here. And inspiring half my songs." She added, giving him another kiss. She moved to sit in his lap.

"I'm just really glad to be along for the ride." He put his head on her shoulder, closing his eyes. "But you're welcome." He added, which caused her to smile. Because she truly wouldn't be there without him. Or maybe she would, but it would be completely different, and she would miss the one thing that made her more happy than her music.

"Oh, babe, there you are!" Ashlyn fell against Big Red. She was preparing for her last show which was currently scheduled. "Where were you?"

"Woah, Ash, chill." He fixed her balance. "You're gonna do great."

"I know. I'm just nervous, and also so excited, and also— I don't know. It's a big night."

"Yeah. So anyways, I was parking. And then walking with EJ and Gina. I'm so glad they could make it."

"Me too." She smiled. "I just really feel like tonight they should be here."

"Yeah." He agreed.

"More than you know." She gave him a wink.

"What?"

"I've got a surprise tonight. Not telling you anything else. You'll see later."

"After the show?"

"Maybe, maybe not. Not telling you anything else." She repeated, kissing his cheek.

"I gotta get my makeup done. You watch, you've been backstage every other night."

"Wait— you're not wearing makeup yet?"

"I mean, mascara, but that's it."

"How come you always look so gorgeous?" He whined, hugging her.

"I love you." She hugged him back. "Thank you."

"I love you more." He kissed her forehead. "Okay, I'll get going. See you later hon."

"Yeah." She smiled at him.
