Ashlyn barely spent two weeks on her song. She hadn't shown anyone, but she was hopeful her label would let her record and release it. She wanted to show Big Red first, so she bounced into the room he was in.

"Hey!" She beamed.

"Hey Ash, what's up?" He looked up from his phone.

"I finished the song."

"Great!"

"Can I sing it for you?" She asked.

"Oh, yeah." He smiled.

"Great." She took a deep breath and began to sing.

"So... what'd you think?" She asked when she had finished. She sat beside him.

"Amazing. Amazing." He hugged her.

"Thanks." She smiled. "And thanks for inspiring it."

"Yeah... 'bout that..."

"Yeah?"

"It's how you feel?"

"Yeah." She nodded shyly.

"Well, it's enough. You're enough." He kissed her forehead. "I don't care about everybody else."

"I know. It's how I used to think, and I still wish I could give you peace. I wanna give you everything I can."

"You do." He smiled warmly. "I couldn't care less about what other people think of us. I just want you."

"Yeah, me too."

"Obviously it wasn't all true, how would your brother feel like my brother if you don't even have a brother? I mean, it was kinda inspired by that time you said EJ felt like your cousin. And I mean yeah I would have a kid with you just obviously not right now and—" she rambled.

"Love."

"Sorry." She giggled.

"But yeah, a kid sounds good." He kissed her cheek. "And the song was genuinely amazing. Probably one of your best, but... again, I'm a little biased."

"Thanks." She laughed, turning around to face him. She put her arms around the back of his neck and pulled him in. She pressed her lips to his. He pulled her closer by her waist. She only pulled back when she ran out of breath.

"I love you." He breathed, pulling her back in. She tightly wrapped her arms around him, kissing back with passion.

"Love you." She paused for a breath. She went back in for a few minutes, pausing for breath every once in awhile. "Okay, uh, I should call my label." She untangled herself from his arms, standing up.

"It'd be stupid for them not to love it."

"I think they will." She smiled. "I'll be back in a minute."

"Good."
