"Hey Mel, I'm on my way to pick you up from the gym." I spoke down the phone as I hurriedly made my way to the car.

"You don't have to, my car is out of the repair shop now. It's all good." She replied.

"Mel, you don't understand. You need to know something."

It's been exactly a week since I've seen the one and only James at the gym. He occasionally made his way to my thoughts every now and then, but I always ended up pushing it way in fear that it would consume me.

I haven't gotten the chance to ask Melissa about him, she probably didn't even know he existed. But the fact that he was pleasing to the eye may have caught her attention. I hope.

I pulled up in front of the gym and made my way to the main reception. The lady gave me the "visitor" tag and let's me inside the massive equipment room.

Melissa spotted me and started to walk towards my direction. "What's wrong? What do I need to know?" She asked.

"I wanted to ask you about this guy at the gym. I bumped into him last week and I still can't get him off of my mind, because I swear he looked familiar." I gushed excitedly.

"Describe him to me." She said, looking interested. These are the kinds of things she lived for.

"Okay, well, he's about 5'11, tanned, well built, has dark quiffed hair and chocolate-colored eyes?" I probably sounded like an air-headed sixteen year old girl but this guy has got me feeling some kind of way.

Melissa appeared to be thinking very hard, as if scrolling through her unlimited lists of faces and names. Finally, after a while, her features loosen up and she looks at me with wide eyes.

"You mean Rodriguez?"

"Yes!" I exclaimed excitedly.

"He really is something," She commented.

"I bumped into him last week when I came here to collect you. He said he recognized me from somewhere..."

"You're kidding right now! Oh my God, you're the luckiest idiot in the world!" She smacked me in the arm.

"Wow, you're a nice one. What do I do if I see him again?" I asked her.

"Girl, I've got you covered," Melissa waved her hand like its no big deal.

She then launched into full descriptions of what days he comes, what timings and for how long. She also told me what equipment he likes to use, and which ones he stays away from.

She kept on telling me more about this guy, most of the information being of no use to me (except the days and the timings of course) but they sure did make a lot of sense in Melissa Town.

"I'm so thankful I have you in my life," I sighed happily after she had finished forty-five minutes of non-stop information.

"I know. Aren't I the best?"

I arrived at my apartment late that afternoon. I changed into comfortable sweatpants almost immediately, dreading the idea of lounging around in that cliche blazer and heels.

Melissa ended up leaving with her own car earlier today, even though I wish she would have rode with me instead. Her gossip, not just about James, but about all the other gym members in general, thoroughly entertained me.

Just as I started to prepare dinner for myself, my phone went off.

"Yeah?" I answered.

"Hey, it's me." Carter said down the phone.
