The little girl opened the basement door, fearful of what may hit her . . .
"Good, you're awake, now go wash the dishes" Mrs Crimson ordered. Esmerelda stayed where she was, she didn't move. "What are you doing just standing around? GO!" an electric current passed through her body, resulting in great pain. She groaned and then took deep breaths. "Do you want that again?" Esmerelda shook her head and started washing the dishes.
"Go and draw water from the well" Mrs Crimson ordered again. Esmerelda nodded her head, this could be her chance to run away! After going outside she felt a current pass through, stronger this time. She gasped and tried to find the well, after three minutes and three electrical currents she found the well and drew the water. She fought back the urge to run away, she couldn't because this was the woods, she didn't have anywhere to go or even survive. Mr Crimson would sooner or later find her and the shock bracelet could be turned to a higher mode which would result in lots of agony.
