"So do you remember the names?" the man asked.
"Crimson was their surnames" he noted it down.
"And can you just describe the place?" Esmerelda could because all these times that she had to go draw water from the well she took a good look around the house for when she would escape.
"Yes, It was a small hut in the forest with lots of overgrowing plants" Esmerelda smiled at herself and felt proud that she had given so much information to track the Crimsons down.
"Oh! And the father cuts wood" the man smiled at her, thankful for giving this much information.

"Welcome to my home" Harriet leaded Esmerelda in only to be greeted with sweet looking parents.
"Hi Esmerelda, we're s glad to have you here!" Harriet's mom, Crystal hugged her. They all had dinner and she got to know them more. "You'll be attending high school with Harriet because you'll feel very lonely alone, I've also convinced the school to put you and Harriet in the same classes so that you'll never feel alone. You can start tomorrow"
Esmerelda was so happy! She couldn't believe that she was finally going to school! And when Crystal mentioned that she was going tomorrow she jumped with joy.
Now this was the new Esmerelda, but would it last for long?
