𝐖𝐡𝐚𝐭𝐭𝐚 𝐦𝐚𝐧- 𝐒𝐚𝐥𝐭-𝐍-𝐏𝐞𝐩𝐚 𝐟𝐭 𝐄𝐧 𝐕𝐨𝐠𝐮𝐞
Today was finally Friday. Didn't mean you would stop working though. High school teachers were bitches and gave homework on weekends all the time, but maybe today you could have more time to relax.
Hours flew by as you walked in and out of classes, having homework pile up to unbearable amounts. But that wasn't going to stop you from being in a good mood.
School was over so you, Kyo and Akari headed over to the coffee shop on campus and bought some chocolate muffins, cookies and hot chocolate.
"Y/n why didn't you get us coffee. We aren't children you know." she said licking foam from her top lip.
"Unlike you I'm not trying to develop a caffeine addiction. And it stains teeth and gives musty ass breath syndrome. And we have an athlete here it could tamper with Kyo's performance abilities" you said.
She nodded "Fair enough ."
"You do know I still drink coffee while you're not around right." Kyo said rolling his eyes.
For the time being you guys chatted loud ,laughing and smiling at each other.
Moments like this made you grateful you had the courage to walk up to Akari and talk to her in your second year. She really brought a ray of light into your life when she came along. A parallel to you. Kyo had added the spark you didn't know you needed in your duo. The silent energy, aggressively passionate and loving.
The three points in a triangle.
The perfect trifecta but Shio was missing ,whenever she wasn't there your squad turned into a trio.
You really wished you stopped feeling so nostalgic over a period of time that hasn't even ended yet but you couldn't help it , knowing that this couldn't last forever.
Eventually Kyotani left since his mom showed up and they had to get to the orthodontist for a check up on his teeth.(I headcanon that Kyotani had braces as a kid and wears a retainer through out high school so he takes care of his oral hygiene expeditiously well.)
So it was you and Akari . You two played some music out loud as you guys talked more about how you couldn't wait to escape the prison of your families and could live your life as rebels as soon as you guys entered university.
"Hey Ri. About Kyo do you think he actually likes me..."you said nervously as your voice became fainter.
"WAIT. YOU LIKE HIM. I was joking the entire time . I really don't know." she said standing up from the bench.
"Nah . Its coz he said some really weird shit to me after volleyball yesterday when he saw me talking with Oikawa." you went on further quoting what he said and digging more up on things you've heard about Kyo and Oikawa's relationship.
