You finally had your part of your speech for public speaking prepared and now all you had to do was edit it and make it conjoined with the rest of your groups. It was almost a phenomenon on how you spent such a short time writing a speech . With proper research it could be done in one to two hours.

You had made it to public speaking sitting at the circular table with your group members and trying to put your heads together in which order you will present your points.

"L/n-san. So you got all of that down." Sugimoto-san asked.

"Oh yeah I did. Should we create a group chat so we can update each other on the editing and send changes that could happen in our speeches and do group calls to practice when we can't meet up in person." you said while adding their numbers to your phone and creating a group chat.

"I see why you're a top student L/n-san you're so organized and assertive. I wish I had even a piece of your work ethic." Ono-san said praising you.

"Its a thing of routine." you say awkwardly laughing to brush off the feelings of guilt looming over you.

You exited the classroom and went up to the library to have some alone time. Frantically walking up the hallways and stairs to escape the unbridled wave of guilt wash over you. You sat in the library chest heaving up and down while tears flooded your eyes and the thoughts began to fill your head.

So much that you became hyper aware of everything and noticed footsteps so you straightened yourself out and wiped your eyes frantically in attempt to appear as your regular self fast enough for this person to never suspect that you were about to cry.

"L/n-chan . Are you there?" Oikawa called out.

"Yeah , I'm in this aisle." you said suffering great embarrassment as your voice was croaky and cracking from prior events.

"Heyy L/n-chan I was looking for you since you weren't in your usual spot."

"I was looking for something new to read." you say pulling out a random ass book from the shelf.

"The world of insects. Wow are you an aspiring entomologist or something." he smirked at you.

"Nah, I just find them interesting. They are such puny organisms but have such intelligence and strength compared to humans. Why were you looking for me anyways?"

"I thought we could hang out like last week."

"Sure, lets go to the desks then."

As you went on a rant of explanation of the insect kingdom and in depth of the evolution of prehistoric insects up until modern insects and how insect societies function and the growth of them while he had his head propped up by his arm on the table just simply absorbing the information that was being sputtered out of your mouth at such a rapid and enthusiastic pace. A peace he fell into seeing you be so passionate about the tiniest things lulled him into a sense of warmth and serenity.

"OIKAWA. OIKAWA. You gonna answer the phone or not." you said.

He sat up in a hurried manner and looked at the contact calling him "Onee-chan."

"Shit , shit , shit. She's gonna skin me alive for this." he said before pressing the green answer button on the screen.

You sat there on the shoreline of confusion and worry while watching Oikawa stress and tap his foot anxiously as he was on the phone.

"Sorry L/n. I gotta go before my sister kills me."

"Okay bye Oikawa. See you tomorrow."

You watched him as he speed walked out of the library mentally missing the energy he brought with him as it dissipated and you were in the same state you were in before.

Distraught.

The chaos beneath the surface had finally floated the surface and it brimmed and boiled until it had finally pushed the lid of off the pot and overflowed onto the stove plate and sizzled in heat.

You exited the library and sat on the bench while staring the sky in its eyes. Assigning shapes to clouds to avoid your worries and keep yourself busy while waiting for your ride home.

You were startled by a loud honking nose and looked over at the familiar car.

"Finally." you whispered under your breath.

You climbed into your father's car and stared off at the school as it became a distant building in the distance.
