CHAPTER 1
"Miss Zekiah, ito na po yung final list natin for this month. Nag increase po ng sobrang laki since napaka dami nating customers araw-araw, and about po sa other managers sa iba't ibang branch natin.. ipapadala na lang daw po nila sa office mo yung report para hindi na daw po kayo mahirapan bumyahe." Kate, the manager of my Café here in Manila branch stated.
"Yeah, sure. Make sure kumpleto na lahat by the end of the month so that I can check it thoroughly." I said before going back to my office.
I am the owner of the famous Café named Coffee Express though I'm not really a fan of coffee, I just like the coffee's aroma that's why I decided to have a Café business. I'm also the Vice President of Anderson Empire, I am a major stockholder there. Under the Anderson Empire is the Engineers and Architects Agency, mayroon ding mga Interns. I'm a major stockholder there because I also finished my Architecture Degree in Ateneo, I took double course, the other one is Business Ad.
Smart, kind, beautiful, sexy. That's what other people describe me, marami pang iba pero hindi ko na masyadong ina-acknowledge since ayoko ng masyadong pinupuri ako.
I opened my laptop and checked my emails, ni-reply-an ko ang kailangang reply-an na emails pagkatapos ay chineck ko na yung mga reports na ipinasa ng managers.
AFTER all my work I went home to my condo to change clothes. It's already 5:30 pm, I have to go to my parents' house because we're having dinner with my sister's fiancée's parents. Pamamanhikan as they call it.
After taking a half bath, I wore a pastel blue off-shoulder, it has loose sleeves ending at my wrist, it is also a crop top showing half of my toned abs, I partnered it with high waist skinny black pants, and just finished it with open-toed stiletto. I just put lip and cheek tint and I just let my short wavy hair untied.
Lumabas na'ko ng unit ko at sumakay sa elevator. Sa basement ako nagpababa since my car is parked there.
I drove my car to my parents' house. Hindi naman masyado malayo at nasa loob naman ng village ang bahay nila.
When I started having my own business and became successful as fuck, I already started paying my own condo bills, unlike before na sila pa ang nagbabayad nun.
When I had my own money, I paid everything na ginastos nila sa akin, I mean, don't get me wrong, ayaw ko lang na nasusumbatan na pinag gastusan nila ako and all or whatever.
Minutes later, I found myself entering their village's gate, sumaludo ang guwardya nang makita ang kotse ko.
Nang nakarating na 'ko, I parked car carefully, mayroon na rin dalawang kotse na naka-park sa tapat ng bahay.
6:30 pm.
I went inside the house, sinalubong ako ng isang maid.
"Good evening po, Ma'am," she greeted.
"Evening. Where are they?"
"Nasa dining po, inaantay na po kayo."
Tinanguan ko siya before I walk towards the dining room, I could hear their laughs and chitchats.
Pumasok ako sa dining, "Good evening, everyone.."
They all looked at me, my mom smiled, "Oh, she's here! That's my eldest, Zekiah Adelaide.."
Lumapit ako sa kanya and kissed her cheek, I did the same to my dad.
"Anak, this is Alison Perez and David Perez, your sister's fiancée's parents." mom said.
I greeted them with a smile, and beso with them, "Good evening po."
"Ang ganda mo naman, iha.." Mrs. Perez stated.
