CHAPTER 7

Nagising ako sa mahinang katok galing sa labas ng kwarto ko, sinabayan pa 'yon ng mahinang pagtawag.

"Ate Zekiah? It's breakfast time, come on..."

Is that Bea's?

Itinaas ko ang ulo ko at tinitigan lang ang pinto, my eyes were still half open, my hair was dishielved.

"I don't eat breakfast!" I shouted then drop my head back to the pillow.

"See, I told you, she doesn't eat breakfast... come on, babe, I'm hungry na..." I heard her whisper.

Soooo? She's not alone? Tristan's there?

We didn't talk last night after what happened in the kitchen.  We were both quiet as we watch the chosen series but the tension was there especially when there's a bed scene playing.

God... Now, I don't know what to do.

Stupid Adelaide.

Uh whatever, I need my sleep. I'll just go back to sleep.

Oh, I thought wrong, yeah?

'Coz someone was knocking again.

"WHAT?! I WON'T EAT!" I shout.

"Open the door." I heard a baritone voice.

"NO!"

I closed my eyes tightly and tried to sleep again not minding the person outside.

Lumakas lalo ang katok.

Fuck.

I sat and stood up, getting pissed.

I opened the door, "WHAT?!"

I saw Tristan's serious face, he eyed me from head to toe, I was wearing my nightdress, not wearing a bra underneath.

His eyes went back to my pissed face, "breakfast is ready."

I smirked in annoyance, "I don't eat breakfast, Tristan. So, please, leave me alone and let me sleep."

I'm so proud that I'm still calm in this kind of state. Usually, I'd be very pissed if someone ruined my sleep just to tell me that I should eat.

"You'll eat breakfast, come on."

Nagpapadyak ako at napahilamos na lang.

I heard him chuckle, I glared at him.

"Fine. Now, leave."

"I won't leave until you're with me."

"Gosh, hindi ka ba hinahanap ni Bea, ha, Tristan?"

I turned my back at him and start walking to my walk-in closet.

"I told her that I'll try to wake you up... and why are you suddenly calling me Tristan? I thought I'm your 'Adi'?"

I looked back at him again, "I never said you're my Adi, it's just your name."

You were never mine.

"But you gave that 'name' to me..."

"I can't call you Adi here, people might hear it."

Dumiretso na 'ko sa walk-in closet to change my nightdress into dolphin shorts and a simple oversized shirt, I also wore a bra.

I went out, and I found him seated on my bed.
