Anna sat on the front step. She was wearing her flaired bleached jeans and on of Harry's tshirts. She'd put her hair up in an uncoordinated bun, the way Harry loved it, and tapped her feet together, checking every car that turned the corner. She checked her phone again. Nothing.
'Come on, Harry.' she whispered under her breath. 'Come home now, baby.'
She heard the deep chug of a bus or lorry or coach turn the corner. She caught a glimpse of it. It was black. Black out windows. Silver lined windows. She stood up and tried to look in the windows. The coach didn't stop, it carried on until it was out of sight behind the bush. SHe sighed and turned around, wiping a tear from her eye.
'Is the my Canyon Queen?'
She whipped her head around and saw Harry at the end of the gate. She ran up to him. 'It was you?!'
He giggled and embraced her.
'Hi' he smiled and kissed her.
'Hi'
Harry lifted Anna up and spun her around, looking at her face. Every part of it, every inch of her that he'd missed.
'I've missed you.' she whispered into his neck.
'Oh, baby. You have no idea.' he whispered in return, stroking her back.'OI!' Louis shouted from a top window of the coach that had stopped just passed the road.
They both turned around.
'Love birds, come and get your stuff, I wanna go 'ome!'
They giggled and went and got his bags and suitcase out of the bottom of the bus.
'Later, boys!' Harry called, waving behind him.
Anna waved too, smiling back at the black windows.'Tell me everything!' Anna said, excitedly, passing him his plate of Chinese, while she sat next to him on the sofa.
'It was incredible, An. Absolutely incredible. I'd missed that feeling, that buzz. When you walk up on that stage, uh, there aren't words.'
She looked at him and smiled at the way he was talking and how passionate he was. She loved the way the right side of his lips curl up more when he's smiling. She put a chip in her mouth. 'I missed seeing your face.' He smiled and she giggled.
'I'm never leaving you again.'
'Yeah?'
He nodded and put his bowl down.
'Love?'
'Yes?' she said, concerned and put her bowl down too.
He took her hands in his and shut his eyes.
'I mean it, I'm never leaving you again. I want you to come with me. I want you to come on tour with us. I want to show you all the places that mean so much to me, because you mean so much to me. I want to show you off to every person in every country. I want you to experience life on the road. I want to sing infront of all those people but be singing to only you, knowing you're there, watching me. I want to sing to you. I want to take you on the stage and show everyone who you are, and say 'she's my world'. I want that, I want you to come on the tour with us?'
Anna looked at him, stunned. He waited for her to speak.
'I've never wanted anything more in my entire life.' she smiled and he gasped.
'You'll come?'
'Yes, H. I'd love nothing more. I love you.'
'I bloody love you.' he said and pulled her in.
