Lydia and Diana were halfway through the movie when Diana noticed the way her best friend seemed a little fidgety, restlessly moving around in her bed, causing the blonde to frown.

"Lydia?" She called gently, almost snapping the redhead from her thoughts as she turned around to look at Diana with wide eyes. "What's wrong?"

"Hum? Nothing." Lydia shook her head, as Diana sighed, picking up the remote in between the two of them and pausing the moving as she turned around in Lydia's bed to sit down properly, looking straight at Lydia now.

"I know you better than that, Lyd, come on..." Diana said. "I mean, you've been wanting to talk, right? Someone to listen to you? So tell me."

Lydia hesitated then, almost as if afraid to open up to Diana but once she noticed the genuine worry in her best friend's eyes, she realized it was stupid of her to even think that Diana would judge her for anything. They had been best friends since second grade and Lydia probably knew Diana better than she knew herself and, even though, she was still a little upset with her with all the secrets she had seemed to be having with Allison and refusing to tell her, she knew Diana would be there for her if she needed it. And, right now, she really needed it.

"I think I might be going crazy." Lydia breathed out, the words coming out of her lips so fast she was worried Diana would make her repeat herself. She didn't though. Instead, the blonde just frowned a little as she tilted her head to the side.

"What do you mean?" Diana asked.

"I... I don't know how to explain... But... There's this boy... At school. I haven't even seen before, but now, suddenly, it feels like every time I turn around, he's there."

"A boy?" Diana asked. "Who?"

"That's the thing." Lydia shrugged. "I don't even know his name. But he... He's our age and... He has black hair and green eyes and he's... He's hot."

"Lydia..." Diana breathed out a quiet laugh. "But you don't know his name?"

"No." Lydia shook her head. "I never asked."

"Why not?"

"I don't know." Lydia shrugged. "It feels like... I know him, somehow, and it would be weird to ask for his name now, right?"

"I mean, I guess." Diana frowned. "But you need to know. I mean, you're talking to him, right?"

"Yeah..." Lydia mumbled, almost sounding a little unsure. "Yeah, I... I guess I am."

"Lydia?" Diana cut her eyes at her. "What are you not telling me?"

"Oh, you're gonna be so mad at me..."

"Lydia... What happened?" Diana pressed, her heart beating faster and faster in her chest the more Lydia spoke.

"I went to his house."

"You went to his house?" Diana repeated, in disbelief. "Without even knowing his name? Lydia!"

"He goes to school with us!" Lydia protested, causing Diana to sigh, exasperated. "It seemed safe enough."

"Wait, it seemed safe?" Diana asked. "Why did it seem safe? It wasn't?"

"I... I mean, yes? I guess?" Lydia frowned. "I just... I don't... That's when things start to get really bizarre."

"They weren't already?" Diana asked, as Lydia scoffed and hit Diana gently in her arm.

"Look, I went to his house, okay? And everything seemed fine, but when I said I was there, no one answered." Lydia said. "The door was unlocked, though, so I went in anyway."
