“Who are you?” Erza asked after seeing a new face in the guild. “What’s your name?”
“I am Heidi Lilinesse,” Heidi introduced herself to the fierce mage, slightly bowing her head.
“And may I know what business you have here?” Erza questioned her, persistently scowling on her.
Her sapphire eyes didn’t falter. She looked straight to Erza’s eyes; even if she knew herself that the glare the wizard gave was enough to kill a person. She took a deep breath, and after composing herself, she began telling their story; how she met Natsu, how he saved his life, the kiss, and the other things that had just occurred in the guild.
After hearing the tale, the fairytail mages now understood the whole situation—at last. But someone was still bothered by this whole happening—Lucy. She looked at everybody from a corner, as they clumped around the unconscious Natsu, and his guest, Heidi.
“Then, the shock must've been immense for him to actually forget the whole thing,” Droy commented.
“Actually I could really imagine him forgetting something as important as that,” Jet added. “But... Oi! It just happened yesterday!!”
“Hmm...,” Erza hummed, crossing her arms in front her chest as if in middle of breaking down a conclusion. “Now, I guess, this settles everything. Now go back to your lives people!!”
“Huh?!” the fairytail wizards reacted. “There’s nothing settled in here!!”
Erza faced them and gave them another sharp eye. The people, out of fear, were taken aback.
“Wait, that’s it?!” Heidi protested; she seemed to be disappointed with the red-head mage’s deduction. “It’s already settled? Aren't you going to punish somebody for her what she did?!”
Erza looked at her, displeased with the sudden tone she conveyed.
“Since you're not a fairytail member, I will let this pass, BUT...,” Erza started. “But, here in our guild, we don't usually meddle with other people’s love affairs. So, this thing is already done.”
With that, the lady guest was blown by the firm attitude of Erza. She paused for a second.
When she was about to retort again, she caught a subtle movement in the corner of her eye. She turned around and realized that Natsu was finally awake. She hurriedly went back to the young wizard.
“Natsu-chan!! Are you okay?” she asked as she slowly positioned his head to her lap.
Natsu opened his heavy eyelids sluggishly; he rubbed his drowsy eyes to clear his blurry vision and he uttered, “Wha--- What happened?”
“Glad you're already awake, wimp!”Gray insulted, giving Natsu a smirk. “Remember Virgo’s blows on you? Was it painful?”
“Argh,” Natsu grunted, he stood up, wobbling a little. “What did you say, you pervy icicle!?”
“Huh?! Didn't you hear me, you stupid flamer?! Gray retorted. “I said, how’s your ass after being whooped?!
Another fight was about to be unleashed.
“Stop it, you jerks!” Erza interrupted, pushing the two boys away from each other.
They were fighting in a corner, shouting at each other, the flame and ice mage were exchanging insults while the S-class mage was getting worked up and agitated. Lucy, on the other hand, remained quiet in a small corner, looking at her teammates having another quarrel like they always had. She thought that after doing such thing to Natsu would give her no right to butt in. She was totally swept away into her own oblivious world. With the thought of being hated by her dear friends, ignored by her guild mates, and neglected by her second family, it was unbearable. She was about to cry.
Lucy was about to lose her composure and burst in tears, when, a figure bumped her, it was Natsu.
“Hey Lucy! Are you okay?” the pink-haired mage asked. “Why are you crying?”
“I---I---I'm sorry, Natsu,” Lucy whispered, lowering her head. “I’m really sorry.”
Lucy cried and it surely made Natsu uneasy.
“Oh no, you made her cry Natsu,” Gray mocked.
“N---N---No, I didn’t!!! Hey stop crying will yah!!” Natsu remonstrated. He patted Lucy’s hair and said, in a calmer, bolder voice, “If you're telling me that you're sorry about what you did to me, I'm telling you, its fi--.”
“It’s not fine!!!” Heidi interjected, drawing lots of attention from the four mages. “Natsu-chan, it’s not okay to just let this one pass. If you do, she’d get used to it and she’ll hurt you whenever I'm not around.
“Hey, look!!” Gray said. “You don't have the right to decide whether it’s fine or not, even if you're Natsu’s girl friend.”
“Huh?! She’s not my girl friend!!! How many times should I say this?!” Natsu remonstrated as he blushed ferociously. “And, Heidi, right, it’s fine. That’s it!”
Heidi said no more. The young lady can’t argue with him about his decision. Seeing him that serious sent chills down her spine.
“S-so, if it’s what Natsu-chan says, I guess it can’t be helped then,” Heidi uttered dubiously. “Well, I guess I’ll be going now. My only matter was Natsu-chan, that’s all.”
“Well, okay. See you then,” the mages said.
“Ah! By the way, Heidi,” Natsu called. The blue-haired girl turned around, anticipating as to what Natsu would say next. “Will you cut the ‘Natsu-chan’ thing?!”
The lady was quite surprised. She only lively nodded as a response and then she walked away.
“I'm glad that it’s already over,” Gray sighed.
“She was quite a handful, you know?” Erza commented.
“You mean, just like Natsu and Gray, Erza?” Lucy teased as she made her way to the vacant seat on the other side of the guild.
“Well, you can say it like that,” Erza chuckled.
“Hey, what’s that suppose to mean?!” the two mages irritatingly said.
The four fairytail mages laughed together like nothing ever happened.
