A Fairytail Fanfic: He's from Fairytail Chapter 4

Chapter 4:

The Lost Memories

                He was totally caught off guard by the stranger in front of him. His mind went blank. He didn’t know what to do, so he shut his eyes tight wishing that this was all but a bad dream. But when he opened his eyes, a blue-haired figure was standing in front of him--- Heidi. It wasn’t just a dream after all. The kiss was real. It really happened. After realizing this, the young mage blushed furiously.

                Everyone else in the guild was left bewildered. The whole building remained quiet for a moment when suddenly, an angry voice interjected.

                “Arrrggghhh!! Natsu, you idiot!!” Lucy shouted angrily.

                Natsu looked at Lucy. He was surprised by both the kiss of Heidi and the sudden wrecking havoc of Lucy. The other guild members were also giving their overstated remarks.

                “Wow! What a lady killer, that Natsu is,” commented Nab.

                “He’s a man among the men,” Elfman declared, crossing his arms in front of his chest.

                “NO!! You’re wrong! This is---,” before Natsu could finish his sentence, a voice inside his head rang and made him uneasy.

                “He said ‘I don't want to be friends with you ever again!’. But I'm sure, he’ll come running saying ‘aye, sir!’ and asking to reconcile with me,” scoffed Natsu as he stomped his way down an alley.

                Natsu and Happy just had a fight, and this wrangle surely ticked him off. Disregarding his surroundings, Natsu just rambled along the alley, with no specific direction. In the midst of his frustration, an unexpected call echoed the narrow lane. The young Dragneel looked around, but no one else was in that place but him. Another scream was heard, and this time, he knew where it came from – above him.

                Natsu looked up. He saw a white object falling from the sky.

                “Heh?!! What’s that?!” Natsu yelped, scratching his head.

                The object was drawing closer and the flame wizard, somehow, had a clear view on the falling body. He realized it was a girl. Natsu was alarmed.

                “Kyaaaa!!!” the girl squealed.

                “I have to save her,” he thought to his self.

                He positioned his body. He took a few steps backward, his eyes fired up as he focused on saving the falling girl. He bent his knees a little, afterwards he ran in full speed, and then he jumped, catching the lady as she almost hit the ground. Natsu saved her.

                The young lady was trembling when the stranger held her. She slowly opened her quivering eyes. The lady rubbed her eyes to clear her vision. She had a crystal-clear view of the person handling her. He was a pink-haired guy, wearing a fish scale like scarf.

                Her saviour looked at her with keen eyes.

                “Hey! Are you ‘kay?” Natsu asked.

                The girl nodded as a response. The lady was very beautiful. She had a long blue hair, braided in one side and placed lightly behind her ear lobe, and was wearing a frilly pink dress. Her eyes were as blue as sapphire. The girl he’s holding that moment was no other than Heidi Lilinesse.

She struggled in getting up, so she grabbed his arm for support.

“Thank you for saving my life,” Heidi said after sitting up straight at Natsu’s lap. “Umm... what was your name again?”

 “It’s Natsu. Natsu Dragneel,” he answered.

“My name is Heidi Lilinesse. You can call me Heidi and I’ll call you Natsu-chan, okay!” she lively exclaimed while standing up.

Natsu also stood up and responded, “Huh?! Natsu-CHAN?!”

“Yes,” she sprightly answered back. “By the way, Natsu-chan, what can I do for you to repay the kindness you’ve shown me?”

“Ah! You don't have to worry about it! It’s my job as a fairytail mage to save people’s lives!” Natsu said giving her a triumphant grin.

“Well, if that’s what you want...but I really want to repay you. So...”

Heidi moved closer to the fairytail mage. He moved back by the sudden action of the blue-haired lady. However, she extended her slender arms and pulled the young man nearer. She was more dominant than anybody could expect. She drew his face to hers and she let their lips touch. Then and there, the fallen angel and the life saver kissed.
