A Fairytail Fanfic: He's from Fairytail Chapter 2

Chapter 2:

The Unexpected Visitor

                “Happy’s gone, Lucy.”

                Lucy was totally stunned. She looked at Natsu with preposterous eyes. The pink-haired guy looked down on the ground, as if everything in him was about to break. They were both engulfed by silence. All of a sudden, another voice cracked the quietness. Gray showed up.

                “Hey, squinty-eyed dolt! What are you doing drooping in that corner, huh?” Gray exclaimed, provoking Natsu to a fight.

                Natsu quickly stood up, irritated. He looked at the ice mage, and then he pulled the blue-head’s collar. The fire mage’s veins were popping as every second goes by. Lucy, on the other hand, was startled by the sudden intensity between her teammates.

                “Huh??!! Do you want a fight with me, you pervy jerk?!” Natsu asked, worsening the whole situation.

                Before Gray could retort to the pink-haired mage, Wakaba got rid of the overwhelming heat between them. He stood in the middle of the young men, displaying some sense of authority. With full of confidence, he began talking.

                “Natsu, someone’s looking for you,” the old man started, giving Natsu a strange grin. “And it seems to be a very special person”.

                “Huh?!” Natsu removed his round fists off of Gray’s collar. “What are you talking about, Wakaba?”

                “You don't have to be so modest Natsu,” Macao interfered.

                “We know about your secret already,” Wakaba added.

                “Huh? What secret are you talking about?” Natsu, Gray and Lucy queried in synch.

                The two elders looked at Natsu, more like glared at him. A glare that’s just enough to pierce a person’s body. Natsu only gave them a couple of blinks. He was caught dumfounded by the two older mages. His friends were also unaware about the whole story. The celestial mage and the ice mage looked at each other, puzzled.

Once again, they were devoured by the deafening silence.

                “Hey! You can’t be serious, right Natsu?” Wakaba said.

                “Just get through it will yah! It’s starting to freak me out!! Who the hell is it?!” Natsu was agitated.

                Understanding the situation, Wakaba and Macao showed him the person they’re talking about. Out of curiosity, Lucy and Gray followed the other mages. Beyond the guild’s gates was a beautiful lady leaning her back on the stone wall.

 She wore a white sleeveless chiffon dress with tied knots on each sleeve that surely complimented her slim body and her fair skin tone. Her long blue hair was braided and decorated with sparkly ornaments which gently rested at her back. The three young mages gazed at the beautiful figure standing in front of their guild.

    “Hey flame brain, is that your girl friend?” Gray asked.

“Ofcourse not, you idiot!” Natsu quickly answered. “And who are you calling flame brain, you dimwit?!!”

                As expected, the two arrogant mages started another petty fight. On the other hand, Lucy fervently stared at the pretty lady standing outside their guild.

 “Who is she?” Lucy murmured.
