Chapter 3:
The Lone Goddess
“Hey, Ojou-chan,” called Macao.
The pretty girl turned around and faced the fairytail mages. They finally had an eye on the young lady’s lovely face. Her sparkly blue eyes were breathtaking. They were like two sapphire stones stuck in her head. Her perfectly curved lips were also eye catching. The lady was so elegant-looking. She was like a goddess or a fallen angel. Lucy felt uneasy seeing her, but she couldn’t agree more. Even the men couldn’t agree more.
“Who are you?” Lucy murmured unknowingly.
“Oh, yes. I forgot to introduce myself,” the pretty lady politely said. “My name is Heidi Lilinesse. Heidi would be fine.”
Lucy was shocked. She didn’t mean to ask her in an offensive way.
“I--- I’m sorry---,” before Lucy could finish her sentence, the lady named Heidi, ran and called Natsu’s name.
“Natsu-chan, I knew you were here!!” Heidi tightly hugged Natsu.
The pink-haired mage was taken aback. He had no idea who the girl was. He tried to sort things out. He tried to remember where in the world he met that stranger. He was trying so hard, when suddenly; he felt an enormous killer aura building up behind his back. Slowly, Natsu turned around.
“Natsu!!!!” Lucy yelled. “Who is this girl??!! And what’s with the ‘Natsu-chan’?!!”
“Yeah. Just a moment ago, you said she ain’t your girl friend. Explain,” Gray added.
Lucy was completely going nuts. Natsu flushed after finally noticing the situation he was in. Gray just gave a long sigh, a rather gloomy one.
“How in the world would I know that, you idiots!!!” Natsu snapped, pushing the girl away. “Why don't you ask this girl!!?”
“Huh~ Youngsters these days...” the elder mages sighed while giving Natsu a sharp look.

Finally, everyone was able to settle inside the guild, except for one--- Lucy. The blonde lady was still fretting about the unexpected incident. It totally annoyed her.
The fairytail mages started interrogating her, asking her if she was Natsu’s girlfriend or not, and the flame mage would get flustered and agitated. He would totally deny it while Heidi would only give a kind smile. They kept on going like that until they already had enough.
After a while, Natsu remained quiet. It might be odd, but he was actually recalling his missing memories. He feels like they’ve seen each other somewhere but he didn’t know where, when and how. It’s either he couldn’t remember it, or he doesn’t want to, or it must be his crazy imagination again.
“Natsu-chan, why are you so quiet?” Heidi asked, pouting her lips. “Are you angry because I suddenly hugged you in front of other people?”
“Ah--- Ah---No. It’s just that--- who are you again?” Natsu asked idiotically.
“Come on Natsu. Don’t be rude to your girlfriend,” teased Cana.
“Yes. If you're a man then you should face your girl friend straight on!!” Elfman exclaimed.
“Like I said, ‘she is not my girlfriend’!!!” Natsu screamed, his voice echoing all over the guild. “I don’t even know this person!!!”
After giving off a powerful scream, the young Dragneel was gasping for breath and eventually, he felt guilt troubling his mind. He anxiously looked at Heidi, and to his disbelief, the fair lady was actually composed. He imagined that she would go amok, just like how other girls (Lucy and Erza) would do when he says something so offensive.
On the other side, Lucy, who was quietly listening to their conversation, smirked victoriously after hearing what Natsu just said.
“You really don’t remember me, Natsu-chan?” Heidi asked. “Well, if that’s the case, I will use all means just to help you recover your lost memories.”
Heidi stood up, and fixed her wrinkled dress. She moved closer to the fire mage. The young man didn’t understand what the blue-haired maiden meant about ‘I will use all means to recover your memories’ but he didn’t care.
The lady moved closer and closer, just enough for their chests to touch. She stretched out her hands and wrapped them around the pink-haired mage’s neck. She took a deep breath and pulled in nearer to his face. Slowly and surely, Heidi shut her eyes as she drew closer to him. Her lips and his were only an inch away. The fair-skinned girl could feel Natsu’s heavy breathing, his heart skipping a beat, the perfect harmony.
After a short moment, their lips met.
