"Can I have another cup?" You said to the curly haired boy at the keg as you held out your empty solo cup
He looks up at you "You certainly can" He pours the beer into your cup and you smile.
You walk away still making eye contact with him. He smirks at you but then continues pouring beer for everyone else.
Later that evening someone had started a bonfire on the beach. You sat next to this girl you just met. You watched the fire just dazing out. You come back to reality and look across the fire. The boy from earlier was staring at you with a smile.
He waved you over. Making sure he was looking at you, you looked around you and then pointed to yourself mouthing 'me'. He laughs and nods his head and you got up and walked over to him.
"Hi" You say looking down at him
"Hey" He says as he moves over making room for you
You sit beside him and it becomes a little awkward.
"I'm John B" He finally says
"Y/N" You say
"So tell me Y/N. Why haven't I seen you around before? Because I know most people on this island"
You laugh before answering "I'm on vacation with my family. I've been here for three days and so far today has probably been the best one"
"How long are you here for?" He asks
"Another week and then I head back home"
He nods his head with a little disappointment. "Well if you're ever bored. I can help spice up your vacation"
"How so?" You wondered
"I can take you on a tour of the island, we can go surfing or boating. You can just hangout at my place my friends are pretty cool" He shrugs
You smile "I suppose anything beats sitting it the hotel with my family"
"Oh yeah" John B says as he nods his head in agreement
For the next couple of days John B did what he told you. He drove you around the island. Showing you all his favourite spots. He taught you to surf and brought you out on the HMS Pogue. He brought you over to his place and you ended up meeting his best friends, who you also loved being around. John B really made your vacation go from boring to amazing, you didn't want to leave.
