Set around OOTP time.

Sirius? Can I ask you a personal question?- HP

Go ahead. -SB

Did you and Professor Lupin ever...You know...Date? Were you together at school?- HP

We did, and we were. -SB

Oh- HP
Are you...Are you still?- HP

Things are a bit more complicated now. -SB
Why? -SB

I don't know, you just act strange around each other, like you both want to say or do something but can't work out how to- HP

..Sounds about right. -SB

But...But you still like him?- HP

Never stopped. -SB

So what is the problem then? Why don't you ask him out, or why hasn't he asked you. Is something stopping you? It's not me is it?- HP
You're not worried about looking after me are you? Because I'm fine- HP

No, Harry, it's not you. -SB
I mean, I am worried about looking after you, but that's not really got anything to do with Remus. -SB

So then what is it?- HP

Things are complicated now. It's been years. -SB

I'm sure he still likes you though, I never told you but he...Well, his room is next to mine at Grimmauld place and well...he has nightmares a lot, but he always mentions your name and then seems to calm down-HP

I'll think about it. -SB

You can do it, you should do it. Well I love you whatever you do. - HP

-------------

Sirius? Have you spoken to Harry lately?- RL

Yeah, I have. He spoke to you too, huh? -SB

Yeah, well less spoke to more uh...'persuaded' I should say- RL

That's a good way of putting it. Reminded me of Lily. -SB

Listen I...I know things have been...'Different' since, well since you came back but I just wanted to let you know that nothing has changed, for me I mean. I...I want to be with you still- RL
If that's what you want of course- RL

Really? -SB
Nothing's changed for me, either. -SB

Really? Oh thank Merlin. I thought you'd moved on, with the order and Harry and everything- RL

I thought you were supposed to be the smart one, Moons. -SB

I am the smart one, and I can see that this whole awkward thing is awful for both of us sooo...Sirius? Will you want to maybe have dinner tonight? With me?- RL

I'd love to. -SB

God I missed you, I know if been with you but it just hasn't felt like I've been...'with you'- RL'

I know exactly what you mean. -SB

I love you Sirius- RL
Always have, always will- RL
Not even Azkaban could change that- RL

I love you too Remus. -SB

One of us should probably tell Harry.- RL

Probably. -SB

Before the poor kid creates some elaborate scheme to get us together.- RL

He, uh, told me about your nightmares.. You can spend the night with me, anytime. If you'd like. -SB
Just like his parents, huh. -SB

He told you? I hoped he wouldn't be able to hear me. Poor kid. Are you sure? I don't want to disturb you- RL
Or hurt you- RL

I'm sure. -SB

I...I would like that, were are you? I feel like I need to give you a hug...- RL

Well I won't say no to that. -SB
I'm in my room. -SB

Ok hang on...- RL

Remus put his phone in his pocket and tried to straighten his robes and hair and walked to Sirius room. He knocked twice in the door."Can I come in?"

"You sure you're the smart one? Course you can come in." Sirius teased "I'm decent, promise." He added, standing up and taking a few steps towards Remus when the door opened.

Remus looked at him with a smile, and wrapped his arms around him putting his head on top of the other man's. "God I missed you, missed this" he said softly rubbing Sirius's back.

Sirius immediately wrapped his arms around Remus, holding him close--almost as if he was afraid if he didn't, he'd disappear. "I missed you too." He murmured, tucking head into Remus' neck "Should've brought this up sooner. It was hard, being so close and not being in your arms. Not being in yours."

"I know love, the amount of times that I have gone to kiss you, hug you, or even hold your hand forgetting that you weren't mine..." Remus trailed off. "I should have just told you. But we're here now, were together now and that's all that matters" he murmured.

Sirius smiled. "I promise I'll never leave you. Never"
