Y/NS POV:

I knocked at the door of best friends house.

'Strange, no answer' I thought to myself. I know she's home. So I pull out an extra set of keys Margaret had given me.  I walked in the house, hung up my coat and started roaming around.

That's when I heard sniffling coming from the bedroom. "Margaret?" I called out for her making my way to the room.

I knocked on the door.

"Go away!" "Marge it's me, Y/n" I opened the door to see her sitting on the floor crying.

I immediately rushed over to her and hugged her. And the moment I touched her she broke down in tears hugging me tight.

"Margaret what happend" I asked her. She straightened herself up, " it's mister Wilcox, he proposed."

I felt like i was stabbed in the heart, I had loved Margaret since we were 18 but decided I needed to support her. All I wanted was for her to happy and if it was with some man and not me that then so be it.

"That's amazing!" I said forcing a smile.

"But I don't want to y/n!  But he's a good man and I don't like him that way and I don't know what's wrong with me!" She cried breaking down again.

"Well you don't have to like him, nor do you have to say yes. I'm sure another man will come." I said in an attempt to calm her down.

"that's the problem y/n! I don't want a man to come I want a woman!!!"

I looked at her in shock but before I could say anything she ran away to the bathroom and locked herself in. I ran after her but had the door shut in my face.

I sat down with my back to the door "Margaret"

"please help me y/n, fix me..."

those words broke my heart. "There's nothing wrong with you Marge, your gonna be fine." "How do you know that?" "Because I felt exactly like you do now and I turned out ok." She opened the door and stared at me. "What are you talking about?" She looked at me in shock.

"I love you Margaret, I have since we were 18 years old."

A tear rolled down my cheek and she just stared at me. I immediately started regretting my actions. "I'm sorry-" but before I could finish she crashed her lips into mine. I put my hands on her hips and she wrapped her arms around my neck. We pulled away out of breath resting out foreheads on each other.          

"I love you too Y/n/n, but what are we going to do, if they find out we're together they'll kill us and I can't lose you. Not now that I finally have you." She said putting her hand to my cheek. "We make sure they never find out."

well that hurt. But I do love the story, there is gonna be a part 2 and I have like 4 drafts so hopefully there's gonna be a lot of one shots coming! But I'm gonna try to sleep cause it's 6:30 am. BYE
