I reach the garage and head straight to the press office, I pull out my iPad and bring up the press release. Once this out I'm hopeful that this might be over, I want to move forwards and look into my future. I look up at the door swings open and I see Josh in the doorway "Mols? I didn't expect you to be here today!" He says pulling me into a hug "Well I do have a job to do" he gives me a squeeze and I flinch slightly, uncomfortable with him touching me "No one would be mad if you didn't come in" I know this but I really want to prove my worth at this team. "Thanks Josh, I'm good though" he nods "Could I have your help?" He looks at me and sees the press release on my iPad "did you want me to look through this?" I nod and pass it over "Charlotte at Mclaren wrote it with Lando and they are releasing it when we do" his eyes skim over the words and he seems satisfied "Yeah, this is good, I'm glad they have been looking out for you" I smile "I just wish that people no longer had too" the guilt I have been feeling since all of this stuff with James happened in the first place.

After an hour in the office I know it is time for FP1 and I will need to take George for interviews after. I also am aware I have been hiding in this office with the excuse of emails. I walk through into George's side of the garage and Bono comes over from his seat on the other side "Molly, I just wanted to see how you are" he says and I actually feel really grateful that he cares "Hi, I'm okay, just want to move past everything" he nods "I get that, if you need anything today please just ask" I nod "Thank you Bono, hope today goes well!" He grins at me before taking his seat and pops his headphones back on. I head over to my usual seat just as George walks into the garage. His eyes immediately find mine and he heads over wrapping me up in his arms. "Hey there squirt, wast expecting you today" he says stepping back to look at me "I think it is good, keeping me busy and I got to putout my own press release" he nods "well, I promised Lando that I would walk you to Mclaren when you are done today if you decided to come to work" Of course he did "I'm not surprised! Have a good session" I tell him and sit back down on my stool.

"Come on squirt, it is almost my bed time!" George jokes leaning in the doorway "I'm coming, just lots of emails to get through" I tell him closing my laptop and shoving it into my backpack. "How was your day in the end squirt?" He asks as we step out of the garage and it feels like everyone's eyes are on me "Well, Ive never replied that comments wont be made this many times in my career" He laughs "Well I know you will be able to protect yourself Squirt, always" he tells me "MOLLY" a voice yells from behind us and I see Max running over "Hey! Are you okay?" He nods "I have evidence against James from Spain, your house and Bahrain, we can get him locked away for good" He tells me and I can't believe what I am hearing "Are you serious? How?" He smiles "I have a friend in PI, I called in a favour after our talk in the paddock all those months ago" the fact that he has been working on this the whole time overwhelms me and I pull him into my arms "Thank you Max, this means the world" he squeezes me "I just wish I could've helped sooner" he tells me and in that moment I feel free, like the girl who started working in the paddock all those months ago.

I thank Max again and we head down to Mclaren with George happily by my side. I spot my curly haired boy leaning on the back of the garage and I cant help but run over to him. I feel completely overwhelmed that we can have the life we have wanted. "There you are!" He says wrapping me up in his arms "Was your day okay? Ive been worried" he tells me into my hair "It's been okay, George and Bono have been keeping their eye on me" I say loooking over my shoulder at my best friend. "We also just had a good chat with Max" George says reminding me of what I need to tell Lando "He hired a guy who has found evidence from Spain, my old house and Bahrain to get James locked away, for good" I say with a happy squeal. His eyes widen and he kisses me hard on the lips "This is amazing!" He lifts me up and spins me around! The relief I feel that there is a path to the end of all of this, I need to tell Charles. Wait where did that thought come from, I shake my head and focus my attention on Lando again.
