Molly

The wheels touch down in Bahrain and I hold onto George's arm "it's good Mols, we are down" he reassures me. I haven't been looking forward to this weekend, not one bit. I told George and Toto about James and I haven't been into the factory since, I've been working from home. Obviously George needs me on the race weekends themselves and I want to do my job. I pull my bag out of the overhead locker "you being picked up at the airport?" George asks and I nod "yeah, I've got a whole plan" I tell him coldly and he nods "we just want to keep you safe" I nod but I know I want to stay with Lando but for now, until we know what is happening with James, I can't be in our room alone. If we can leave the track together I convinced Lando that we can stay together.

I grab my bag off of the belt and follow George through airport security. "I will come and meet you tomorrow morning" he tells me as his trainer pulls up "okay!" I tell him, climbing into a McLaren. "Hey baby" I say looking at Lando, he had to fly out yesterday so I stayed with George. "Hey! Was the flight okay?" He asks looking concerned "absolutely fine, George puts up with me" I joke and he smiles "I'm sorry I had to fly out here early" I shake my head "don't be silly, it's okay" I place my hand on his and he sends me the warmest smile. I've missed him more than I realised "I've really missed you" he chuckles "it's been one day" I nod "I know, but I want to spend every moment with you" I tell him and he squeezes my hand "me too Mols, me too"

Lando

I swing open the door to our room and place Mols case by the wardrobe. "Wanna watch a movie?" I ask her pulling my laptop out of my backpack "sounds good" she calls from the bathroom. I wander over and lean in the doorway, watching as she washes her face "stop staring" she scolds me "stop being so pretty then!" I defend and I see her roll her eyes in the mirror. She dries her hands on a towel and steps over to me wrapping her arms around my waist, I bring my arms around her tightly. She in this moment is completely safe, I just wish I could promise that always. She traces lines on my back and I can't deny the tingles that run down my spine. We've been through so much to get to this point and I don't want to risk loosing her. I am worried about her staying with Charles tomorrow but I know it's for the best.

We curl up in bed and press play on Monsters inc. We both settle into the pillows and she rests her head on my chest. "We don't leave the door open BECAAAAAAUSE?" She quotes and I respond "It could let in a draft?" She smiles "IT COULD LET IN A CHILD" Mols quotes and We both chuckle "what? You put it on because it's one of my favourite films" she defends and I can't help but fall more in love with her.

"Lando wake up" I hear Mols and I let out a groan "no!" I tell her grumpily "we need to get up and get to the track" she tells me and I huff before opening my eyes seeing that she is fully dressed already? "Did you let me sleep?" I ask and she nods "as long as I could, but you need to get yourself in the shower" she says in a firm tone "yes mum!" I tell her sarcastically swinging my legs off of the bed "you will thank me later" she calls as I enter the bathroom. I switch the shower on and set it to practically scolding hot. I step under and I feel myself waking up more.

"Right let's go!" I tell Mols, I check the time on my phone and see we will get to the track early. She nods and slings her backpack onto her shoulder "I'm ready" she says and I intertwine our fingers after I lock the door. We walk through the hotel, down to the lobby. I can already see the fans outside "we don't have time" Mols reminds me but I can't help but stop for a few photos and autographs along the way. Jon pulls up in our car for the weekend and Mols practically throws herself into the backseat "Morning Jon" she calls "Morning Mols, Lando" he greets and I climb in the passenger seat "alright Jon, thanks for getting us" I say and he just smiles. This is part of my plan to keep Mols safe, no walking to the circuit, no travelling alone.
