days have passed since the couple fought, again. everytime minji goes to school, she looks very pale.

minho and his friends noticed it very soon.

"minji? don't tell me you and changmin fought again?" minho said. minji just sighed.

"is this relationship even working?" minji asked.

"should i go and confront him?" minho asked.

"no, i don't want to witness another fight. i will fix this as soon as possible." minji said.

"you again? why is it you again who will fix it?" minho asked.

"i don't know. i just think i need to." minji said.

"no, let changmin learn. ask your friends, your brother. i swear minji, i am not kidding. if changmin won't treat you better, i will get you." minho said.

"fine. but i'll ask for other's opinion first." minji said.

"no need, we agree. we heard your conversation. changmin needs to learn his lessons." younghoon said.

"the brother says so." chanhee said this time.

minji saw changmin together with chaewon.
she sighed.

she's frustrated. she's mad. she's sad.

"should i make a move then?" minho said and winked at her.

she chuckled at his behaviour.

"whatever." minji said.

they laughed.

changmin noticed that they looked happy. it made him mad, seeing minji laughing with minho.

he did not think anything and just dragged minji away from her friends to the garden.

"what do you want changmin!?" minji yelled.

"it makes me furious! you always smile when you're around minho! do you still even love me!?" changmin yelled back.

"what the fuck changmin!? of course i do! how can i smile around you when all we do is fight!?" minji yelled and tears left her eyes.

"it makes me frustrated! i don't know if our relationship is even working! let's cool off." changmin suddenly said that almost made minji's knees weak.

"c-cool off? are you serious right now!? wake up changmin!" minji yelled at him.

"i am serious minji!" changmin yelled back.

"if our cool off turns to break up, i will despise you forever." minji glared at him. they parted ways, heartbroken.

as soon as they got home, they're not coming out of their room.

while they were having dinner, they saw changmin coming out of his room with bags.

"where are you going?" juyeon said as he stopped him.

"i'm going to chaewon's." changmin said and minji suddenly got mad.

"chaewon's!? how can i trust you with that woman!?" minji asked.

"remember minji, we're basically strangers right now." changmin coldly said and left.

this time, minji's knees were weak and she fell in the ground, crying.

at the same time, minho came and saw changmin leaving.

changmin gave him a glare.

"i told you changmin, if you hurt her, i'll snatch her away from you." minho said and ran to minji.

changmin saw the scene unfold and his heart broke. but he still left her despite seeing her like that.

when changmin came, chaewon welcomed him with a hug.

"i'm not in the mood to talk to you, chaewon." changmin said and sighed.

"you're in my house right now." chaewon said and glared at him.

"then i'll leave." changmin said and chaewon stopped him.

"fine." chaewon said. changmin goes to the guest room and fixed his things.

minji and younghoon's parents got the news. as well as the other parents, they got the news.

as soon as changmin's mother got the news, she goes to chaewon's house.

"oh? eommoni! i didn't expect you to visit me!" chaewon smiled and was gonna hug her but she stopped her.

"i'm here for my son, i need to talk to him." changmin's mother said.

"changmin! your mother is here!" as soon as chaewon yelled, he ran downstairs and smiled brightly at his mother.

"i missed you mom!" changmin said and his mother smiled at him.

"changmin, how can you smile widely while your girlfriend is there, broken?" his mom asked.

"mom, can you not bring her up." changmin said.

"my son, she's still your girlfriend. i thought you loved her a lot? you should trust her. i can see and i know that minji is a great person. i don't understand why you still asked for a cool off." his mother said.

"is her ex there?" changmin asked.

"yes. but they're friends. you're the one that she loves. and you left her, that's why he's there. minji needs someone. and it's kind of disappointing that you're the reason why she's like that. she's like a broken machine, son. you broke her." his mother stated facts.

"but mom, she's with minho and juyeon always." changmin said.

"but she came home to you, right? despite being with minho, she still loves you right? as i said, they're friends." she said.

"but when i'm with chaewon she gets mad also." changmin said.

"why? because she is a bad influence. look at you right now, you're with her, while your girlfriend is broken. but minho on the other hand is a good guy. it's pretty different son." she said.

"still." changmin said and rolled his eyes.

"i need you to come back to her in less than 3 days or not, you can continue living here and never come back to them and us. don't choose her over us. i'm leaving." his mother said and was about to leave.

"but mom-" he was cut off by his mother.

"no buts, changmin. minji is much better than chaewon." his mother said and left.
