chapter 24

minji was kinda late, she had to stopped by to minho's dorm. changmin knew that she had to stopped at their dorm.

"thank you for helping me, jiji." minho said while they were walking in the hallway.

minji smiled at him.

"i am always beside you minho. i will always help you. you know that i am very thankful that you were there when i need someone the most. i am thankful that i have a friend, had a boyfriend, that is kind and caring." minji said and pat his back.

minho chuckled.

"yeah i know that. i am also thankful that i was the first one to experience all the affection you give, your first boyfriend." minho said and winked at her.

minji smacked his shoulder.

"just because you can make me calm doesn't mean you can flirt with me now, i'm already taken, idiot." minji said and laughed.

minho just smiled. he's happy as long as she's happy.

"i like you." minho suddenly blurted out.

minji looked at him, shocked.

minho realized what he said also.

"are you kidding?" minji asked.

minho sighed, knowing that he have to confess.

"no. i do like you minji. but i was late to realize my feelings. but it's fine. as long as you're happy, as long as you're still my bestfriend, i am already fine. i already experienced how to be with you. i am currently trying to move on. i can't stop having feelings for such a beautiful, kind, caring, understanding girl. just know that i am always here for you, okay sweetie? i'm sorry." minho said and kissed her forehead.

minji suddenly cried in his arms and hugged him. he was flustered but hugged her back.

"i am sorry minho ya. i love you but i cannot return it. i'm sorry." she mumbled in his uniform.

minho caressed her hair.

"no, don't be sorry. it's not your fault. come on minji, i don't want our friendship to be awkward. stop crying." minho said.

minji broke the hug and wiped her tears.

"are you crazy!? how can i end our friendship! i can't lose you, again." minji said and smiled at him.

he just chuckled at her.

"let's go, we're really late." minho said and ran to their room.

when they entered the room, the whole class and the professor was looking at the both of them.

minji looked at changmin and saw his furrowed eyebrows.

"why are you late mister lee and miss kim?" their professor asked.

minho scratched his nape.

"we had something urgent to do at the dorm, we're sorry." minji said and they both bowed.

the professor signed them to sit. minji hurried to her seat, beside changmin.

"you're really late, kim minji." changmin whispered.

"i'm sorry, i had to help minho cook." minji said and changmin nodded.

"why did you help minho hyung cook?" sunwoo asked.

"you know, our kiddo jisung is craving for something that minho isn't really familiar with. the kid throwed tantrums like he's on his period." minji joked and they laughed. jisung whined.

"noona!" jisung whined and she laughed.

"what do you mean 'our kiddo jisung' minji?" kevin asked.

"oh, back then, minho and i took care of the other guys. especially the younger ones when chan isn't around." minji explained and they all nodded.

"i am noona and hyung's favorite child." jisung said.

"it's me! i am minji noona's cousin!" seungmin said.

"idiots, it's me! especially noona, she baked with me always!" felix said.

"isn't it me though? i am cute." changbin said.

"yah! i am noona's favorite. we used to order americano together!" hyunjin said.

"hyungs, it's me. i am minho hyung and minji noona's favorite child. no doubt. they bought me all the things i want." jeongin said and smirked.

"guys, chill out. all of you are my favorite okay?" minji said.

"ah hyung, they have children." eric said.

"shut up eric, you're one of my children." minji said and all of them laughed.

when they were home, the couple are in changmin's room, cuddling.

"why do you look like you cried earlier?" changmin asked the girl in his arms.

"minho and i talked about something. he confessed to me. just like chaewon." minji said.

"yet you're still close?" changmin asked.

"yeah. i can't afford to lose someone again. minho is a good guy." minji said.

"then how about me?" changmin asked and pouted.

minji chuckled and pinched his cheeks.

"i adore you a lot, idiot. you know that, you know how much i love you." minji said.

"but you still love minho." changmin said and pouted again.

"is my love jealous? come on love, he's a part of my life also. he won't steal me from you unless you do something bad to me like make me cry." minji said and they both laughed.

"i'm glad he didn't steal you. i made you cry again. i am regretting that." changmin said.

"don't feel sorry or such. it's normal for couples to go through circumstances." minji said.

"did someone ruined your relationship with minho back then?" changmin asked.

"of course. it was one of my friends that i trusted. i didn't know she liked minho. so she tried to ruin us, but luckily, minho didn't believe her easily." minji said.

"is she the one that you saved from the bullies back then?" changmin asked.

"yes, that's her. how about you? did you wish to be in a relationship with chaewon?" minji asked.

"yeah. back then, i don't know, i was so stupid. my mom and the other moms are telling me that chaewon isn't a good influence. but i didn't believe them. i was too blinded. even though i have no feelings for her anymore, i still believed that she is a good friend. my mom and sisters didn't like her already." changmin said.

"you know, sharing stories like this makes me happy. i feel like it's bringing us closer to each other." minji said.

"yes it does bring us closer love." changmin said and minji snuggled in him.

they hugged each other tightly, falling asleep.
