chapter 4

when she ran, of course the guys followed her. but they lost track on her. they sighed.

meanwhile, minji is in her dorm. she's so shocked.

"no way." she said again.

she looked at her phone again to check, it's really him. her ex boyfriend. his friends followed her, also him. then he dmed her. telling her that he's back in korea. what's worse, he wants to meet. she dmed back and said okay.

"it's been a long time." she said to herself.

while she's on her way to the park, younghoon called her.

*incoming call*
[the hell where are you?]
"i need to meet someone."
[okay, tell us your location. we'll follow you]
"fine. i'll send it to you. bye."
*hang up*

she's right at the park now. she's nervous. she still can't process what's happening. she saw a silhouette and it waved at her direction.

she saw he's with someone. but she didn't care. she ran and hugged him. she cried in his arms.

"i missed you." she mumbled in his shoulder. he chuckled.

"me too, i missed you." he said. little did she know, her brother is just near the park. they saw the scene where she hugged him.

"damn bro who is he?" kevin asked.

"it's him." younghoon said.

"but how? such a coincidence. she's just talking about him earlier, now he's here." juyeon said. they walked to them, younghoon was shocked when he saw his cousin.

"woah seungmin you're here also." younghoon said. seungmin bowed at him.

"yeah, we wanna come with our friend to meet his first love." seungmin chuckled and the guy glared at him.

"hi hyung, long time no see." he said and bowed to younghoon.

"minho my boy, how are you? didn't know you've gone abroad this past years." younghoon said.

"fine. i'm really sad i left minji here alone. no one will take care of her, i said to myself back then. but i need to. sorry about that hyung." minho said.

"it's fine, atleast minji experienced to be an independent girl." younghoon said.

"y'all are having life lessons. hi i'm juyeon, her friend." juyeon said.

"i'm jaehyun, her friend also. i'm guessing you're born in 1998." jaehyun said. minho nodded.

"so you dance also?" juyeon asked.
"yup. we met in a dance class back then." minho said and chuckled.

"oh? where's minji?" jacob asked.

minho moved to the side and they saw minji having fun with minho's friends. one of minho's friend has minji's phone and she's trying to reach for it, but his other friends are tickling her.

"wah look at her. unbelievable." kevin said.

"her smile is pretty." changmin said. the four chuckled, younghoon, jaehyun, juyeon, and minho.

"glad you know. are you minji's boyfriend?" minho asked. changmin shook his head.

"no! we're not even close." changmin said and frowned.

"oh yeah right. it's hard for her to trust other people that easy. especially 6 years ago. she didn't talk to anyone except for her cousins, aunties, grandparents, and us." minho said.

"oh really? what happened back then?" juyeon asked.

"well i watched her cry, be happy, be nervous, be excited." minho said.

"so you're basically like her guardian." jacob said.

"exactly. that's why i'm really sad when i left korea." minho said and sighed.

"she mentioned that you have the same personality?" younghoon said.

"oh yeah. we really are. they call us the cold couple back then. we always have blank expression when it comes to others. but of course, we can soften our heart when you're trustworthy." minho said.

"so have you kissed already?" jaehyun asked once again.

"yow hyun what the fuck." minji said.

"of course we had." minho said and smirked.

"how 'bout make--" jaehyun will say something again but minji covered his mouth.

"shut the fuck up lee jaehyun oh my that's embarassing!" minji said and they all laughed.

"so how's life? you should fine a new boyfriend." minho said. while the others are chatting, they're having their own conversation.

"i still don't like anyone. i really wish a new life. i want to soften up. but nothing." minji said. minho is not that cold anymore, unlike her.

"you're just starting jiji. look, there's a lot of guys who wants to be your friend. maybe one day, one of them will fall for you and you'll do the same." minho said.

"how about you? do you have someone already?" minji asked.

"actually yes. she lives in america. but she's korean. her name is choi jikyeon. she's really pretty." minho said and minji gasped slightly.

"oh my gosh! congrats! is it years already?" minji asked.

"almost one year." minho replied.

"but why did you post something about missing me? she might feel bad you know." minji said.

"no really, she's kind. she know's we're just friends now. she really wants to meet you." minho said and minji smiled.

"now i do too." minji said and minho pinched her cheeks.

"if she met you, i want you to be with your boyfriend. we need to have a double date." minho said and minji chuckled.

"well then, we'll meet in maybe next 5 years." minji said.

"nah, you'll have a boyfriend this year. you need to soften up minji. accept them." minho said and minji frowned.

"i don't know how. i can't." minji said.

"stop ignoring them and open up." minho said but minji changed the topic.

"show me a picture of your girlfriend." minji said, minho just chuckled at her.

"you changed the topic but fine." minho showed her their picture.

"oh damn she really is pretty. she's lucky she have you. you're silly but still caring. that's nice of her, he broke the ice in your heart." minji said.

"i hope someone will do the same thing to you." minho said and minji just smiled sweetly at him.

"fine. soon, someone will do that." minji said and minho ruffled her hair.

"that's my girl." minho said and they smiled at each other.
