Chapter Three: Addison's first day at seattle grace.

Addison's POV:

After a small talk with Meredith, I left the dock and went back to my hotel, As I changed into my pjs and fall back in my bed, I could hear my thoughts, they were loud and it was weird, I felt sorry for meredith and I wasn't even thinking about derek, maybe because I just felt guilty, So I ignored it, After a while I was knocked out.

I woke up to the sound of my loud alarm, I was a heavy sleeper so no matter what, I had to set up my alarm, It was 6:00AM, but I had to be at the hospital at 8:00AM and I take a lot of time preparing so I needed an hour of preparation.

After showering, I took my clothes and wore them, I had picked out a white blouse sleeve and a black fitted skirt, I always loved that style, then I topped it with my long black coat, I curled my hair and put on some light make up.

After preparing, I called for a cab and gathered my things and fixed them in my bag, I brought a leather shoulder bag, I didn't have to bring alot of things because most of them are already in the hospital.

I was in the cab and I could feel my stomach twist, because of the thought of seeing meredith and derek again, I had no hard feelings for meredith, Especially because of what happened last night, But I wasn't sure about derek, I'm sure he would fight richard just to get me on the first plane back to New York, But I was only here for a case and I convinced myself that after the case, I would hand him the divorce papers.

I had arrived at the hospital and again, I stood there, in the front entrace and I was nervous to come in, but of course I still did.

I took the elevator and pressed my floor number, I was watching the number go from 1-7 and then it stopped at my floor, I looked at the elevator door, not sure what I'd see once it opens up, after opening up, I saw richard webber standing in the nurse's station and smiling at me.

"Addison Montgomery!" Richard called for me, I gave him a hug and took his hand shake.

"Hey, Good to see you!" I tell him, me and richard have known each other for a while.

"I heard about last night" Richard was staring at me waiting for a response, I mean, what was I suppose to say? *yeah, I became satan to my husband* I think to myself.

"Yeah, words do travel fast huh?" I answered him with smirk, I was sure because I felt like the whole hospital was staring at me, when I first came in.

"Well, I hope you sort things out, Meredith Grey is a good person and I'm sure her mother would've not tolerated any of this."

"You knew her mother?" I asked.

"Her mother and I worked together back in the days, she was a doctor here, Did her internship and residency here and her fellowship out in boston, Ellis Grey." He tells me.

"The Grey method Ellis Grey?" I asked in shock, Ellis Grey was a General surgeon legend, She won three harper averys, one of the highest awards a doctor could receive, and anyone in surgery knew who she was, The day she invented her surgery method, The Grey Method, everyone who witnessed it said she walked into that operating room a resident, and walked out a legend.

He nodded. "Yes, but for now, let's get those charts and hand you to Dr. Bailey, she's the best resident we've got here, I'm sure she'll have an intern for you." He led me to a woman who seemed less interested in anything going on around the hospital.

"Dr. Bailey, This is Dr. Addison Montgomery-Shepherd" Richard introduced me.

"Must be the wife of Mcdreamy." Bailey said.*Mcdreamy?* I think to myself, My husband must have a whole bunch of people lining up for him.
