Hanging Out With Him

It's been a few weeks ever since I became part of the Emperors Coven.

The job had sucked. A lot. Not a lot happened... But one guy named David let a echo mouse in and we all chased it! Couldn't let it get into the library, which was- serious. Classified stuff in there! But it was fun watching everyone chase one small mouse.

Besides all the crazy and nothing happening. I'm meeting up with the Golden Guard. His efforts of trying to get me to hang out with him finally paid off. Is efforts being annoying me while I 'worked'.

I sigh, lifting my mask up as I walked down the hall. He should be around here.... where is he- "BOO!"
someone appeared behind me, taking hold of my arm.

I jumped with a gasp, sending my free arms elbow flying at the person but they caught it. I was then quickly turned around to come face to face with the Golden Guard...

"You sCared mE!" I yelled

The Golden Guard simply laughed, "I can tell! Ready to hang out, (Y/N)?"
His grip on my arms was gentle, gentle enough wind would be able to blow them off...maybe

I sighed and reluctantly nodded, "yeah, whatever. Let's go" I pulled myself away.
The Golden Guard held out his staff, letting it float, "let's go!"

"We're inside-"

"So?"

...I hesitantly got on the staff after he did. I was right behind him.

"Hold on!" He said, the staff zooming off!
"AH!" I yelped, wrapping my arms around the Golden Guards waist, holding on tightly.
The staff busted through the doors and we were out in the skies!

I turn my head, looking down at the scenery below, still holding on. The world was so pretty high up...I could see everything! Forests, the Titans Hand and legs... the towns and cities. It was amazing!

"Enjoying the view?" The Golden Guard asked

I simply nodded, no words coming to mind. It was just...breath taking.

The Golden Guard smiled, "Hey, wanna get some food?" He looked back at me. I look up at him and nod again, "Yeah, that'd be nice" considering I skipped breakfast this morning...or- every morning..

The Golden Guard flew the staff down to Bonesborough, soon landing. He hopped off the staff and so did I. Then we started heading towards some food stands. It was silent for a bit before the Golden Guard spoke, "So..what do you want to eat?"

"Hmm..." I look around at the food stands, looking at my options. "I think...I want a (F/F)!" I smiled, walking up to the stand with the food I desired, the Golden Guard walking beside me.
I glance over at him to see him pulling out a wallet. He better not pay for me! Last thing I need is to owe him a favor...

We were next in line, scooting up to the counter.
"Welcome! Welcome! What can I get you guys?" The girl behind the counter smiled. 
"Can I have burning fries and (f/f)" the Golden Guard spoke his order.  The girl nodded and turned to me...
"Oh, I got them covered" the Golden Guard put a hand up. 

"Mm alright then" the girl walked over to her deep fryer and oven/grill thing and started cooking. 
I looked over at the Golden Guard and spoke, "I can pay for myself"
"Nah nah its okay. I got it!"

"No- really- I'm okay-"

"I insist"

......damn. can't break the laws of insisting. I huffed, cheeks puffed out as I look away...

We stood in silence for awhile until the last was finished cooking and handed us our food.  "Here you go! That'll be 15 Snails!"

The Golden Guard nodded and gave her the snails. He handed me the (F/F) and held his fries. "Thank you" I nod to him as we started walking.

We were sitting on his staff, high above the Boiling sea. We had the view of the Titan infront of us as we ate. The sight was truly magnificent. "Thank you for the food!" I say once again, taking a bite out of my (F/F). He nodded, "You're welcome" He lifted his mask slightly up to eat his fries...

"Why don't you take your mask off?"

He simply smiled, "Where's the fun in making you guess what I look like if you know what I look like?" He giggled

"Oh come on! We've seen each other for awhile! Why not show me Golden Guard?"

I simply let out a smiley sigh, lifting up his mask...and- I gotta say, he looks pretty cute...

"(Y/N), call me hunter... outside of work of course" He winked

My cheeks flushed with color. I nodded... what was this feeling? It's...so weird. Maybe I'm not feeling well, or maybe my stomach is taking a turn at the food. I could only shrug it off as I spent the day with not the Golden Guard, but with Hunter...
