The Magic Goblet

I was riding on my new staff, flying next to the Golden Guard. We were heading to the Knee, both of our uniforms remade to fit the cold.

Once we land I was given the details of the mission, both of us walking as we talked.
"Belos wants us to retrieve some magical goblet. It's apparently located in some ruins underground. We'll have to be careful..."

I nod as we walk up to a less collapsed building. "Guess we're going in here?"

"You scared~?" He teased

"Why would I be scared?"

"It's okay if you hang onto my arm" he joked, going inside.

I can't tell if I want to mess with him or just push him in the snow...

I sigh and walk in after him. I look around at all the dust and spider webs... "so, where is this 'magical goblet'?" I asked, lifting an old dirty cup, only for it to shatter to dust...

"Hmm, I'm not sure. It should be here, somewhere..." he mumbled, pushing back an old tattered curtain.
I sigh and kept looking. As I searched the house I tripped over a red rug, revealing a trap door. I groan, rubbing my arm as I stood. I looked down at the door and gasped, "Hey! I found something!" I called out.

The Golden Guard turned his head and stepped towards me. We both look down at the floor door, only to guess the goblet was down there.

"Nice job, (Y/N)."

I nod as the Golden Guard bent down, grabbing the knob of the door and pulling it open.

We both look down at the stairs leading down...

"You first" we both say, looking up at eachother.

Silence...

"Alright, I guess I'll go..."
The Golden Guard went down to the dark abyss the stairs led to. I quickly follow behind him, not wanting to be left alone.

As we descend the stairs the area got darker and darker. I use a light spell as soon as I couldn't see, making our way down way easier.

"Man, these stairs are sure going down forever" I try making conversation

"Yeah...Is there even a floo- Oh nevermind, we're here!" The Golden Guard chirped, walking ahead as the red crystal on his staff started to glow.

I stay behind him, my small balls of light floating around me.

The basement was so dusty, dust coating anything it could. The walls were made of stone, some wooden pillars keeping them in place and holding the wooden ceiling up. Spiderwebs sprinkled the place, adding a bit more flavor I would say.

The two of us keep waking, "Lets split up" the Golden Guard said as we came to a two-way. He went left and I went right...

The right hall was the same as the main one, only a lot more rooms and turns. It was quite easy to get lost in it.

I started leaving some light spells by walls as I walked, using them as markers. Minutes start to feel like hours as I walk around. I just wanna hang out with Olver again. He's so cut...CoOl! HE'S SUCH A COOL FRIEND HAHAHAHA. YUP JUST A FRIEND
