06 » Hoping, My Lungs Won't Fail Me Now
❝Tell me that it's worth it
'Cause I'm doing all I can to fight it
And I've never been this scared
And my moment's finally hereTime's racing (Please slow down)
I gotta find my way out
I'm hopeless (But hoping)
My lungs won't fail me now
'Cause I'm still breathing ❞-Mayday Parade, Still Breathing
Iris turned, fear taking over her body as shadows embraced her. She was unconscious for awhile before she actually woke up again. When she woke up she wanted to scream, the cold reality had to give her a nice slap to the face when she thought life was actually going to go good.
"Hello, darling." A cold voice broke her thoughts, sending shivers down her spine as a cold finger traced her jaw. "I've been waiting to see you, you know." The disembodied voice chuckled, "You are so fascinating" The voice added, stroking her face with it's hand.
"What are you? Who are you?" Iris questioned, looking around horrified as the voice faded, leaving her in complete silence.
Back at Hogwarts, James was rocking back and forth on his bed, listening to the rest of the Marauders (plus Lily) try to figure out where Iris was taken. So far, not even the Ministry had a trace of where she was taken to. Sirius had been staring at the wall for the past hour, not saying a word as he wished he had followed his best friend out of the castle sooner, so he could've saved her. Remus was looking more pale then usual, her was terrified of what might of happened to Iris and where she might be. Was she in a ditch somewhere in London? Or was she underground somewhere, dead and never to be seen again? Remus was shaking with anxiety as the questions attacked him. Lily looked guilty and Sirius was thinking it serves her right, seeing as what she did to Iris. Although it wasn't what Lily did that was eating away at her, it was her involvement that made her insane with grief.
But how was she involved?
And what was she going to do to make it right?
