Reynico [HIATUS]

A Dance?

Nico P.O.V. 

I was backstage with all the other actors before scene two. Piper ran out and told everyone in the audience that there were a few things they were taking care of. 

"I'm not doing this," I told Leo, "it's stupid." 

"Neither am I," Reyna cut in before Leo could say anything. "That's not even how I act." 

"I have to agree, Leo, it's pretty stupid," Annabeth said. 

"Let's rewrite the script." Jason told everyone. 

"Give it to me, I'll write it with you Jason," Piper said. Jason handed the paper to her. 

"I think that's a good Idea. Piper knows Reyna well, but I also think Annabeth does, too. I mean, and Nico does." Hazel said.

"Yeah, and Jason knows Nico... well? I guess, as well as you can know him. And so do Hazel and Reyna." Frank added onto Hazel's idea. 

"Well, you also know Nico well, I guess. Maybe Will does too." Hazel said. 

"Oh great, now the whole camp knows me so well. Just great." I sarcastically muttered. 

"How about we all write the script. That way we all agree." Percy suggested. We all agreed. 

"Well, everyone except Reyna and Nico." Percy added. 

"WHAT! No way, not happening. With Leo helping write the script and not me next thing you know I'll be ripping-" I argued. 

"Tsk tsk. Nico, not allowed." Leo said. 

"He was going to say he'll be ripping your head off," Reyna put in. "I'll be joining him."

"Aww, how romantic!" Piper said (as a joke). Reyna and I rolled our eyes. 

"You forget I'll be there too. So will Hazel, Frank, and Calypso." Annabeth stated. 

"Wait, Wise Girl, what about me?" Percy asked. 

"You're with the crazy side, Seaweed Brain. I wouldn't trust you with this." Annabeth responded.

"So it's settled. We'll all write this except for Reyna and Nico," Jason said. "Pipes, could you tell everyone?" 

"Sure." Piper responded. She went out to the stage and told everyone to go to their normal activities. There were some things they needed to smooth out. Before everyone left, Piper announced something that shocked everyone, including her friends. She said, 

"Also, the Aphrodite/Venus cabin will be hosting a dance in three nights. It starts at 6 PM. Make sure to have a date/dancing partner. If you don't, come to our  cabin and we'll ship-- um, set something up. Your outfits will be on your bed the day of the dance. Everyone has to come!" With that, everyone left talking about the dance. 

Piper came backstage smiling. I was going to punch that smile off her face. A dance? A child of Hades- me- going to a dance? With a date? Reyna? Wait, where did Reyna come from? Huh? I don't like Reyna right? No, that's impossible. Besides, Aphrodite told her no demigod shall heal her heart. Then I got mad. How dare she do that to Reyna. Reyna didn't deserve that. She deserved the best person ever created. She deserved so much more than this. I shook my head. What was wrong with me? 

"Hello, did you hear me Nico?" Jason asked. Stupid, I was lost in my thoughts. 

"Yeah," I replied. 

"So, um, everyone else left." Jason said. I looked around. The lights were off. 

"Yeah, I know. I was just leaving." I told him. We walked out. As we were walking back to the cabins, Jason asked me the question. 

"So, who are you bringing to the dance?"

"Um..." Shoot, what do I say? "I don't think I'll go." I said. 

"Come on, man, you should go. It'll be fun."

"Maybe." We parted ways as I went inside thinking. I went down to our cave/basement. With our dad being the whole underworld god and stuff, we had a cave/basement under our cabin. I had all the cool stuff: TV, kitchen, even a guest room, living space, and other stuff. I sank into a beanbag thinking. I might go to the dance, but without a date. Ugh, but they'll be people, lots of people, and music and dancing and partying and... 

Jason P.O.V. 

I was on a mission. I was going to help Nico. I headed to the Aphrodite cabin. I think Nico should take Reyna to the dance. However, Piper was the expert on this so naturally, I went to her. I knocked on the cabin door. Lacy opened it. 

"Hi Jason. Are you here to see Piper?" Lacy asked. 

"Yeah." I said. 

"Well she's in her counselor's room. Make sure the door stays open." She giggled. 

"Yep, will do." I said. "Thanks." I walked over to Piper's room. She opened the door. 

"Hey, Pipes." I said. 

"Hey Jason. Come in." She said. We sat on the edge of the bed and held hands. 

"How are you?" I asked. 

"What do you mean?" 

"You know, you have a cabin you're taking care of with double the people and a party and the play and stuff." I said. 

She sighed. "Yeah, it's a lot. Everyone is excited about the dance is asking for help. I mean, Lacy is helping as my assistant, but still, I need more help." 

"Well, you know I'll always  be here for you." I told her. 

"Yeah, I know." We kissed. "Thanks." 

"Anyways, I don't want to bother you, but I have a question." I said.

"Mhm?" 

"Well, I was talking to Nico today and he is hesitant about the whole dance thing. Especially the date part. So, do you think he could like ask Reyna or something?" I asked. 

She squealed. "OMG, yes. Reynico forever! I totally ship them!" 

(A/N: Don't we all? Lol.) 

"So do you think you could convince him to go?" I asked.

"Yes, this is totally #1 OTP. But also Tratie. Oh yeah, speaking of, Travis will probably need help asking Katie, even though she totally likes him." Piper responded. "Lacy!" She called. Lacy ran over. 

"Yes," Lacy said. 

"Could you add this to our OTP list? Reynico." Piper said. 

(A/N: It's just a joke my friend made and now I actually have it so yeah.) 

"Omg, yes. Eek! Reynico is so cute!" Lacy squealed. 

"Oh and Lacy, make sure we speed up the Tratie process please." Piper added. Lacy nodded and skipped away smiling. I got up.

"I have to go now. I promised Chiron and Frank I would help fix the archery range after the Hermes cabin burned it with Hephaestus cabin's new invention." 

"Okay, see you later, Jason." Piper got up and gave me a peck on the cheek. I walked out to the archery range - or what was left of it anyways. I think Nico is in good hands with the Aphrodite cabin. 

Sorry for such slow updates. But school is so annoying! Long chapter though (1122 words)!
