Reynico [HIATUS]

Surprise... and Horror

Reyna P.O.V. 

I woke up at around 5:45 the next morning despite staying up late last night. I quietly headed to the bathroom to change, brush my teeth, wash my face, and fix my hair. I did all of that, but when I was on my hair, I was sad to take out the braid that Nico had weaved into my hair. I held the braid remembering what had happened - before Percy and Leo interrupted. I also noticed that Will had gone over to Nico's cabin, but I knew Nico didn't like him. Nico had also told me he was bi, and I promised not to say anything without his permission. However, it also meant he could possibly like me too! Don't be stupid, stop getting distracted! I undid Nico's braid from my hair, which held surprisingly well while I slept (almost in perfect condition, though I don't move much when I sleep). I fixed it into another braid, but this style was a very tight braid that would hold for a long time even while running/fighting. I always liked to use this style because when you're a demigod, you never know what's going to happen. 

(A/N: I don't know if that style has a name because I'm not familiar with braids. I have short straight hair so I just leave it down. If there is a style, feel free to comment it.) 

I had changed into my running clothes for my morning run. It was a nice way to freshen me up. I hoped to see Nico, but I knew he wasn't much of a morning person. I slipped outside and started my run through the woods. 

Nico P.O.V. 

I woke up to... well, darkness. It was always dark in the Hades cabin, with it's black walls, black blackout curtains, and general dark colors. I looked at my clock and groaned. It was only 9:30 AM! I rolled back over under the covers. Then I heard a knock on the door. 

"Hey Neeks, you awake yet?" A voice I loved to hear asked. I mumbled something incoherent, hoping Reyna would think I'm asleep. 
"Okay then..." Reyna walked away. I was about to call her back but I decided I would spend lots of time talking to her to make up for it. I went back under my covers and tried to sleep. However, I didn't know what Reyna had planned for me. 

~~~ 30 minutes later ~~~

Reyna P.O.V.

I watched as Connor Stoll looked through a huge box of keys. I had come to the Hermes cabin to ask Travis for a way into the Hades cabin, but Connor said that Travis was 'busy with Katie in Travis's bedroom' (separate for counselors) and wiggled his eyebrows. Finally, Connor pulled a key with a skull of it out and said,

"This should be the Hades key!" He handed it over to me. I decided to go out before he asked questions, and I decided not to ask why he had keys for every cabin. Mental note: Get rid of those. I headed over to the Hades cabin. It was around 10:15 AM, so Nico should be fine waking up now. I jiggled the key and unlocked the door. I walked in and shut the door behind me.

"Rise and shine, Neeks!" I cheerfully said as I opened the blinds. It was like a cave in there. Nico groaned. 

"Rey! Seriously?!" 

"Yep, get up!" I said. He tried to pull his covers up to shield his eyes, but I pulled them off. 

"It's already 10:15, you have to get up!" I told him. 

"Blegh," he said. He rolled out of bed in his pajamas, which was no shirt and some black shorts on. He had perfectly sculpted muscles but many scars. His shaggy hair was all messed up and he had major bedhead, but somehow that made him look better. He was extremely pale as always. He smirked as he noticed me looking. 

"Like what you see?" He asked jokingly. 

"No, idiot, I'm just wondering why you're so pale." I laughed as I tackled him in a friendly way. I was on top of Nico and we had fallen on the floor. Our faces were inches apart. I could feel his breath on mine. We stared into each other's eyes. 

Right then, Jason decided to walk into the Hades cabin. He looked at the two of us. Nico, shirtless, and me, on top of him because I had tackled him. Jason raised his eyebrows. 

"We definitely need to enforce the rule about a boy and girl being in a cabin at the same time." He said, nodding to a shirtless Nico. I jumped off of Nico and Nico dove for a shirt, and the first one he could find was the pajama shirt I had given him for Christmas, which was a Batman shirt. He shoved it on, and said,

"No, you idiot. Reyna was waking me up." Jason nodded. 

"Well, I'll leave you to it." Jason whistled innocently as he walked away. 

"Let's just go to breakfast." I told Nico. We went to breakfast, but it was only halfway through the meal when he realized he was wearing his Batman shirt and shorts. 

"Rey!" He whisper shouted to me. I went and sat at his table. 

"Yeah?" I asked. 

"My shirt!" He complained. "It has the Batman logo on it." I suppose he had a good reason to say that - everyone was looking at him. "I'm changing." 

"But you look so cute in it!" He rolled his eyes and headed to the Hades cabin. He probably thought I was joking. 

"Hey, Reyna, we have to go set up for the play in 10." Leo said before walking away to inform Piper and Jason. I groaned. We have the stupid play today. I had totally forgotten about it. Better get it over with. Leo was dying after this. Nico came back over to the table in his usual skull t-shirt and new aviator jacket. I told him about the play being today, and he started shouting Italian. He does that when he gets mad, but luckily I picked up some Italian from him while transporting the Athena Parthenos. 

"MI RIFIUTO DI FARE QUESTO STUPIDO GIOCO! NON POSSO CREDERE CHE LE PERSONE VOGLIONO VERAMENTE VEDERE QUESTO! UCCIDER LEONE. HO intenzione di infilare alcuni FONZIE SU DI SUO-"

(I REFUSE TO DO THIS STUPID PLAY! I CAN'T BELIEVE PEOPLE ACTUALLY WANT TO SEE THIS! I WILL KILL LEO. I'M GOING TO SHOVE SOME FONZIES UP HIS-) 

"Woah! Neeks, do not finish that sentence!" I shouted. The whole camp(s) was looking at us. Well, since Nico started shouting. I didn't stop him until he... well, got some bad ideas in his head. I grabbed his arm. 

"I don't want to do this stupid play either. I hate it and will murder Leo. Especially after the kiss scene. But I'mm going to get it over with. Plus, I have a plan." I dragged him to the theater.

All the actors were backstage getting ready. 

"Thank you all for coming to watch the amazing play, The Story of Rey-Rey and Neeks!" I'm so glad you all made it." Leo started. He said some other things. "And we have some very special guests who have come to watch!" Then to everyone's surprise and my horror, the 12 Olympian Greek gods appeared, including Hades. 

This is not going to end well...
