Chapter Twenty Three

I got a new computer YAY!!!

I will start posting new chapters, but I am in school and must focus on that first, so I apologize if a chapter does not come out every week/month. Anyways let us wrap up this annoying part and get into the story after all that's what you are here for.

Pidge P.O.V

Pidge held on to the gravestone, tears rolling down her cheeks, her heart ached, she wanted her life to return to normal with her brother and Lance. She raised her hand and rubbed it down the stone, taking in all the detail, and as she did so something caught her eye. The date it said her brother was born was wrong, and she was pretty sure her brother would have told someone his birthday, or they would have figured it out.  
 

Pidge pulled the date up to the location and noticed how it came out to be a location, a small hope fluttered in her heart. She ran back to the Green Lion. She could barely get in her seat before she had the lion lifting off the ground. She put the location in the lion and pushed the lion as fast as it could to get there, hoping her brother was there. 

The time ticked on as pidge flew towards her destination. She started to see more Galra ships, and once she saw one, she hit her invisibility. When she reached her destination it was a large meteor, the size of a moon, but the color of mars. As the planet got closer, the paladin saw an opening that fits a smaller ship. She pushed Green forward and landed on the flat area in the middle. She jumped out of Green.

Once her feet hit the ground,  she looked around wondering where her brother could be, or why he wanted her here. But there was nothing, just the radish dust from the meteor she was on. The fluttering in her heart was slowly fading. She raised her foot to hit the ground. As her heel hit the ground, there was a small ping sound.  She looked down, dropped to her knee, and pushed the dust out of the way. 

Underneath the dust, Pidge found a metal hatch. She tried to open it, but she needed a code, so she started down the path to hack it.  After a few times, the hatch popped open and she slid down into the opening. when her feet hit the bottom. She looked around. All around her were computers. Some had Galrean information on them and some had other random stuff that confused her. 

Pidge took a step forward to get a closer look at the screens, but before she took another step someone emerged from the shadows and tried to knock her over with a large staff. She stumbled a bit, but pulled out her Bayard, wrapped it around the staff, and pulled on it. The other person stumbled before they pulled back on the staff and kicked pidge in the stomach.     Pidge fell back and hit the wall. She looked up at the person. When they got closer she attacked, making him wobbly on his feet. She tried to swipe up with her weapon. The other person dodged, but the blade hit the hood causing it to fall. 

Standing there, was a boy who looked just like pidge, but older, without glasses,  masculine, and he had a scar on his cheek. Pidges mouth opened as she said, "Matt!"

"Who are you? " The boy said as he got ready to attack the girl. Pidge quickly took off her helmet as she said, " It's me, Katie, brother".

Matt stood in shock seeing his sister out here in space. He swooped her up in his arms and spun her, tears forming in his eyes. As the tears started to fall down his cheek he said, "Omg. I'm so happy to see you."

Both of the siblings fell to the ground tears in their eyes, happy to be reunited once again. After a bit of holding each other, Matt looked into Pidges eyes and  asked, "How are you out here? What are you doing here? Does mom know you're here? Have you found dad?"

Pidge started to answer him, telling him of Voltron, but before she could finish, some else entered the laughing. Matt put his sister behind him as he snapped at the other person, "who are you? And what are you doing here?"

"My name doesn't matter, and I'm here to end you, intelligent boy", the other creature snapped laughing as he charged after Matt. 

Matt blocked him with his staff and kicked him back, but the male had excellent balance and swung at Matt. Matt was thrown a bit, but caught himself. His head was killing him. Pidge glared at the other male and shot her bayard at him, but the enemy blocked it. The enemy pulled Pidge closer to him with his weapon and kicked her. She went flying through the sky and hit a screen while letting out a small cry of pain.

Matt glared at the enemy who hurt his sister, and as the two males fought, Pidge set up the weapon just in time for the unknown male to pull out his weapon. Pidge activated her weapon, causing an electric current to travel through the weapons and killed the mysterious male.

"We......we need to get out of here", Matt said in a bit of pain. He had some blood running down the side of his head. Pidge nodded and stood up. Her chest was hurting, and if she had to guess, she would say she had broken ribs. She slowly walked to matt as she said, "We can take Green back to Voltron. "

Matt helped Pidge get out of the base and into the green lion. As he did this he said, "I think we should go somewhere closer, for medical attention. I know one of my rebellion bases is nearby. "

"Mhm", Pidge muttered as she plopped into her chair. As she did so, her chest hurt. Matt got close to pidge and put the location of the base in.
