Spirit of Voltron

Chapter Eighteen

~Voltron P.O.V~

       As the paladins and royalty, all stood on the dock as their eyes slowed want from one destroyed ship to another destroyed ship.  All allowed the planet where destroyed Galra fighters,  some small fighter to large carrier bases.  through the silence, a single voice came out, "how?"

       The voice had belonged to pidge her eyes were to widen as she stood in disbelief and wondered how this happened.  Voltron itself could do this, but who else had this power. Allura spun around to look at her comrades, after looking at them she says, " we don't know what happen, so stay on guard, and prepare for anything." 

      The paladins nodded as they let out a breath none of them realized they were holding. Shiro nodded as he put on his helmet as he says, "Let us get out there and down to that planet to help them."

   The fellow Palidans nodded in agreement as they all headed out. Keith was the last to follow out, he gave Coran and Lotor a look before he left for the red lion.  Once all the lions were in space they flew in a triangle formation towards the planet. Shiro was the head of the point followed by green and red then blue and yellow. As they flew past the destroyed ships, they saw the strength and accuracy they were destroyed at.  The ship debris drifted a bit when Voltron went past, sending the pieces bouncing off each other. The com between crackled up as hunk slowly says, " it kinda creepy isn't it."

"It is, but I also hope the databases aren't ruined, so I can look for my brother and father, "  Pidge says, she wanted more than anything to find her brother and father.  Shiro nodded to himself as he says, " I'm sure you find them, and after this mission, you can look in these ship databases. "

Pidge was about to respond but before a single fell from her lips a large ship started to come towards Voltron it was still too far to know what. " Prepare for battle," Shiro says as he moved slightly forward to see what it is.  The fellow lions got into battle position and waited to see what it is. Shiro looks around and spots a large piece of Galra ship. Shiro pulled up a com as he says, "I have an idea, Keith get over behind the piece of the Galra ship, and whatever that thing is attack as it passes, everyone else stays hidden." 

"Alright," Keith says as he pushed forward, he positioned himself behind the metal, piece. He sat there and wanted, for what felt like hours, as the seconds ticked down seconds.  When Keith saw the first thing of white he launched into an attack.  He pushed the lever forward as a dagger appeared in the lion's mouth. Once he was out of hiding he saw what the white ship was, in front of him stood a White lion.  The White lion took him off gourd for a second, but within a second he was focused, he tried to crash into its side by doing a roll, he then was going to cut its side. Before he could even ram into, the White lion barrel rolled and getting away from the red lion. The two lions were staring at each other. Without hesitation, Keith rushed at the white lion, the white fired a few shots in the red lion's direction, but they were easily dodgeable in the red lion.

        The white lion backed up before it rushed off, away from the planet it had come from, to another location.   Red wants to  follow but before he got past the wreckage of the ship Shiro came over the coms, "Don't follow Keith, return to us, let us check out the planate."

Keith didn't say anything he just turned around and headed back to the other paladins, when he reached them, they all headed to the planet's surface. When they landed on the planet's surface, they laned in an open field near the village. Once they all landed they got out of their lions and stood in front of them. Before the paladins could take a step closer to the village, A older man who looked beat came over to them, beside him stood a taller man in dark navy blue and orange armor he wore a helmet hiding who the person was.  Princes Allura stepped forward and smiles at the male as she says, "Hello sir, I am Princesses Allura of Altea and the paladin of the Blue Lion, We had come to save you. But it seems like you been saved, but we would make an alliance with you we could use your support in the upcoming war with the Galra Empire. "
