Heaven On You

Part 19

Henry's mobile phone called; he was in the middle of drafting a tender for a new school building project that was about to be submitted. This tender must be completed as soon as feasible so that Henry may submit it on time. He didn't enjoy it when the phone ringing disrupted his focus now. He sat down and took up his phone.

"Hey," Henry said, initiating a conversation without turning his focus away from his job.

"Hello there, sweetheart. Are you still in the office?" Henry could hear Nicole's voice at the other end of the phone line.

Nicole instantly drew Henry's attention to the young lady. His lips curved into a grin, but it did not seem as though his dullness was as expected.

"Hi, when are you planning on returning?"

"I arrived at the hotel this morning. It's simply that I didn't tell you. I'd want to surprise you with something. Do you have a job right now? It's already six o'clock."

"Yes. I have work to prepare for, so please bear with me. What are your whereabouts? I'll pick you up later, and we'll have supper together." Henry started this with a slight grin on his face.

"I'm now residing in your condominium. I'd want to see you right away. I adore you, but I love you much more. And I'd want to invite you to supper!" Those final few words are given a little emphasis.

Henry burst out laughing as soon as he heard Nicole's taunting conduct.

"Okay. You wait as I finish up a bit more work. I'll come back about seven o'clock, and I'll bring supper back with me so that we can spend the rest of the evening together. okay?"

"Okay, I'll wait for your response. Don't be late for your appointment."

"Goodbye!" Henry said as he placed his phone down and looked far ahead, taking a big breath.

Nicole couldn't tell how the girl was reacting to the news of his marriage with Sophie since she sounded so joyful, but she was curious. Henry will inform Nicole directly so that she does not get the wrong impression.

The moment Henry enters his condominium, Nicole embraces him and gives him a yearning kiss on the lips. After arranging the food he had purchased on the dining room table, they took a seat on the couch together. Both parties are utterly oblivious to the installed television. Nicole was wholly absorbed in her love game, passionately tormenting the young guy and entirely oblivious to Henry's disinterest in her.

For some reason, Henry had the impression that Nicole's presence did not bind his heart this time. Sophie was a vivid recollection that occupied much of his mind. Since the night he spent with Sophie, he hasn't been able to shake the image of the girl from his mind for a single second. The idea that he might release his desire on Sophie would allow him to rid himself of the conflict in his spirit and the yearning in his chest used to appeal to him.

However, his desire is becoming more intense. In the years after that incident, Sophie has not slept through a single night because her nightmares have come true. And Henry can forget not a single second of Sophie's lovely face in the blink of an eye. Henry seemed to be enraged at the young lady. Something that he never imagined would happen to him occurred.

Henry attempted to reciprocate Nicole's embrace, but he couldn't since he felt so dull in his heart. This girl will never be able to touch his heart. Nicole seemed to be feeling her coldness at this point. The young lady looked directly into Henry's eyes.

"What's the deal with you? You don't think I'm gone?" a bit of Nicole.

"I'm missing you, but I'm starving. Should we have something to eat first?" Henry attempted to counter-argument.

Nicole then flashed a spoiled grin.

"Okay, let's get something to eat first. After that, let's go on "Nicole stated this as she was getting ready to serve lunch.

While Nicole was eating, she had the distinct impression that something was wrong with Henry. Henry's response might sometimes be seen in his eyes while he was quietly pondering something or smiled to himself, although nothing was amusing going on at the moment. Henry's thoughts appeared to have wandered off to another place. Henry is similar to the act of thinking about someone.

After having completed their meal, they sat back on the sofa. Nicole pressed her body into Henry's chest, a spoilt brat she had become. His arms closed around her, and her fingers stroked Henry's arms as they caressed hers. She will have to work even harder to charm this young guy to gain his attention.

"Now you imagine you're work or do you have another lady in your life?" Nicole guessed while her gaze remained fixed on the program playing on the television in front of them.

Henry was startled out of his trance by Nicole's remarks. The girl could hear a deep groan from the man's lips.

"I'd want to share something with you..." Henry was finally able to speak. He has to communicate this to Nicole immediately. The guy is unable to put off the task any longer.  That is the condition that has been established for Sophie's marriage. He will begin living at Mr. James' residence tomorrow and will be required to spend a week with Mr. James. 

Henry himself is perplexed as to why he has chosen to live with Mr. James. However, the criteria provided are both too tiny and too simple to be implemented. Undoubtedly, everyone had a relaxing vacation in a hamlet away from the rush and bustle of the metropolis. More than that, may he get an understanding of rural life. Henry is looking forward to that moment with bated breath.

"I'm getting married," Henry said casually.

Nicole was paralyzed in an instant. After that, she straightened her body while maintaining eye contact with the gentleman.

"What?"Nicole's lips were moving in response to the question.

Nicole's attitude brought a grin to Henry's face. He had correctly predicted that he would elicit such a response from Nicole.

 "Are you kidding me?"A heatedzaqw2 tone delivered Nicole's inquiry in an agitated manner. Red obliterated the expression on her face as she tried to keep her fury in check.

"No. I'm not exaggerating. in two weeks' time I'm going to get married "Henry said quietly.

"With whom?" Nicole inquired. She continues speaking in an angry tone. She was still holding out hope that Henry was playing a joke on her.

"You don't know her... she's my grandma's personal nurse," says Henry.

"Do you want to marry a housemaid?" says the groom. Nicole's rage can now be seen emanating from her. The housemaid defeated her, and this cannot be allowed to happen! hatinya getus hatinya.

"yes. It is a family-centered structure."

"Are you in agreement with that?"

"It's not exactly a familial situation, to say the least. Actually, I'm the one who's to blame for this."

Nicole remained quiet as she listened to Herny's soothing remarks. He couldn't trust what he heard at all.

"What had really occurred was still a mystery. Please inform me!" Nicole was adamant that she be explained.

Nicole was staring directly into Henry's eyes. He had anticipated the sorrowful tone he heard to come from a noble heart, and he was not disappointed. Nicole, on the other hand, had not the slightest trace of sorrow on her face. All that can be seen is the blazing anger of the man.

"Basically, I became interested in her, seduced her, and... we spent the night together... in other words, I raped her. They now want me to tie the knot with her "What Henry had to say about what had occurred. any remorse over the fact that he broke the girl's heart
