The door opens and in walks Amber, I roll my eyes. "What your story with blondie over there?" Aran asked, I guess he noticed my change in mood. "I don't know what her problem is with me, I didn't even know we went to the same school since two year ago when she tried to get the school to hate me." I sighed, "it's really just a long story." He nodded in understanding. At least he understood me, "you comin to the party ?" I ask suddenly. He looks at me quizzically, "what party ?"
"The party that Amir is throwing." I say matter of fact, leaving the part where I wasn't supposed to know about it in the first place out.
"Oh yeah that one, I heard of it but I didn't really wanna go, I guess I'll go if you let me bring my friends from my team ?" He asked, I nodded, "sure they can come."

We went back to online shopping and finding weird things on Amazon until the door opened and the sub walked in. He looked more put together this time. The whole front row, where Amber was sitting, looked at him then each other and started giggling. I didn't bother trying to figure it out because at the end of the day I always regretted it. He set up and turned to us, "so I gave you an assignment and I want to evaluate this one with the whole class this time." He says. We nodded and pulled out our assignments, well I just pulled it up on my laptop.

"So what did you get on question number five, since that was a rather hard question." He said. Me and Aran made eye contact and I grinned at him, he nodded in agreement and raised his hand. Mr. DeSilva nodded in his direction, "so it was actually pretty easy since you just had to look at the graphs on the first page..." Aran explained like a pro, I was proud of my work. When we'd finished comparing answers Mr. DeSilva said he had an announcement to make. "We have a project coming up, you'll be doing these in pairs and you can choose who your working with."

The room buzzed to life, "oh and it'll be 40% of your grade this semester." Some gasps we're heard at the back of the class, i shrugged 'won't be that bad.' "You wanna do the project together ?" Aran said. "Oh sure." I smiled at him. Mr. DeSilva projected the information for the project onto the white board. The project was about a game called "Deal Or No Deal ?"

Basically what we had to do is prepare to lead this game with one of us as the banker/teacher and the other as the player. The 'audience' could always help the player and advise them about the bank offer and if they should continue or take the offer. After each decision the player makes during the game, the teacher ask questions of the 'audience' - "now if prospect theory applied in all scenarios, what would the players decision be here?". The teacher also shows statistics and articles on different theories and topics and every pair has to prepare for this in the next 4 weeks. Simple.

"That should be fairly easy." I say typing quite quickly on my laptop. I already had an idea for the articles and statistics we could use and everything about that. "Yeah I think so too." Aran said next to me also typing in stuff on his laptop. "Ok so I'm guessing we both have ideas so I suggest we open a google document and write our ideas down and then weigh out pros and cons and then choose the one with the most pros." I suggest. He nods slowly, "that's actually pretty smart and we'd use google doc because it's an interactive document which means multipe people can write on it at the same time." He said like he'd just solved a super hard maths equation. I nodded laughing, "yeah exactly."

"You...perfect." He mumbled, "huh, we're you talking to me ?" I looked at him. He quickly shook his head, i nodded slowly, "okayyy."

- mini time skip after school -

"Ok I'll email you all the exact details of the project." Mr. DeSilva said as everyone was packing up, "and Amber I need to see you after class." He announced. She smirked in response, "they prolly fuckin." Aran whispered next to me, it scared the shit out of me ngl. I kinda flinched, "did I scare you ?" I can hear the smirk in his voice. "No you didn't fool and yes they most likely are but I'm not involving myself because the last time that happened it wasn't so pretty." He nodded in response a smirk playing on his lips, "you didn't scare me." I repeat just to get my point across. "Whatever you say n/n." I roll my eyes and walk out of the room, not really mad but still trying to make a point.
