It has been almost a whole week since William broke up with me ,but it didn't hurt much to be true. William began to ignore me at the work but I hardly somewhat cared.
The only thing that occupied my head was Luke. Luke was the only stuff that bothered me, he had been haunting me in my dreams almost every night.
Thea as usual herself giving me cold shoulder, even though she and Luke were together.
Rose had been updating me with all the gossips mostly about Luke, I was wondering if she had a crush on him. Although never asked her. During a free period, we were hanging around when we came across Jose , Luke's friend and brother.
"I warned you Rose , not to mingle with her ." He was talking about me.
" You don't have to tell me whom I should be with .." her back lash made Jose to cuss but he left.
" He hates me but what did I do ?"
"Ah, he's just upset that Luke did so much for you ..like he got your viral pictures removed from every website" she said without much interest.
" Luke got my photos removed ?" He never told me that.
"Yea , not only that he when you were missing at club ..he got cops called . He was fucking worried . "
My heart just paused listening Rose. That guy truly loved me but I was blind to see it and too late to realise.
"Well...poor Luke. He truly loves you ." She moaned.
I just shook my head, what else could I have said !
"That's why he was too broken when you rejected him."
Gossips travel faster than light does. The whole campus somehow knew I rejected the heartthrob of University. But none knew, I rejected because I was already with William, I didn't want to be a cheater.
"You know girl... Luke dropped out "she hushed near my ear.
" WHAT ! , He dropped for me ." I felt like villian ruining him . What had he done to himself. I needed to see him as soon as possible.
So that day I dropped Luke a visit but found Olga instead greeting me.
"Olga, I'm here for Luke..."I tried to peek inside.
"Luke...oh Kyla. He doesn't live here anymore. He .. actually moved out " she said.
Another shock . Wow.
"Where...what is he trying to prove that he's grown up acting all childish"
"Kyla , you never understood ..." She hissed, then rolled her eyes."whatever I'll text ya , new his address." Ogla sighed.
I took cab and immediately went to his new place. When I reached his new apartment, Thea was the one who opened the door, I was so envious.
