I was sitting on the chair awaiting for my flight . I was leaving New York , for a while or forever, only time could say that. Why I was ashamed of what I had done a week ago.
Although I was drunk, but I harmed Kyla. I tried to force her , I couldn't even believe myself that I did that to her. Actually , I was regretting that I let her go and wanted her be back , so I planned to fake my marriage with Sue. I thought she would out of jealousy confess her love to me . But I was wrong . Luke and Kyla were something , seeing them together was hard and painful.
On the wedding day , she was looking heavenly in that peach attire. Even thinking about her turned me on .
So it was best to stay away from her, I couldn't harm her thus I was leaving the continent.
" Will , this means you'll never return" Luke asked, he was there to bid me a farewell. Shouldn't he be happy finally I was going.
" Yes. And again I'm sorry buddy for whatever I did. one more thing keep Kyla always safe and merry ."
I although hate saying it but I had lost Kyla forever.
Luke shook his head then patted my back.
" Yeah. " He paused then looked in his phone.
" But Luke..." I wanted to see Kyla for the last time.
He looked up.
" I know Kyla is here ."
" Yup , don't ever think to see her." He warned "she's SCARED of you ."
His words were like sharp swords piercing my body and soul.
"But before leaving, can I once see her ." I requested " once , please talk to her. "
"Fine." He sighed .
He walked out after a while he returned with a beautiful accompany. Her arm was wrapped in a cream band-aid . It made me feel so monstrous, I regretted my desire to see her for last time. She stood silently in front of me , with her head hung down then she looked up . Her eyes were enough to make me nervous. Her innocence, her untied locks swayed a bit. I looked further down to notice, her hand clasped with Luke's. A sprang of jealousy moved down my spine.
Suddenly Luke's phone began ringing.
" Guys I need to take his call ." Luke went out , which made Kyla uncomfortable and she moved few steps back .
" Kyla, don't . " my voice mad her to stop." I never wanted to harm you. I know you could never forgive my deed . I deserve hatred ."
She stood silently, but her eyes fixed with mine. Seeing her beautiful glistening eyes , our first encounter in elevator flashes in back of my mind. I wished I could turn back time . I shifted my eyes in other direction.

"I'm sorry Kyla." I voice was raspy and shaky.
" Will , you are smart and great guy that's why ...i haven't filed complaint. I don't need to say anything . I'm happy atleast you're trying to move on ." She said in hollow voice.
Our eyes locked again, I wanted to kiss her but , I hold my self back .
"All the best for your future, may you get what you desire."
Although her smile was not genuine, it was enough to make my flutter. I wanted to spend some more time with her. But the clock was tickling.
Suddenly the call of passenger from my flight was announced .
It was time , I had to go . I grabbed my stuff and case , moved to the check-in counter. I turned back to see Kyla happy with Luke. They were laughing together , hugging but that could have been my place.
I wanted to scream out loud but instead a slow feeble whisper came out.
"I love you Kyla. Always and forever ."
