Chapter - 23

We were in Paris when Sue called and delivered the shocking news of her wedding with William.

Since Luke was William's brother his parents wanted him to look after all plans and stuff . So we returned back to New York the next morning.

The week passed normally, but at work William kept on giving me cold stare , it was damn awkward.

Moreover Sue wanted me to be her bridesmaid , since she had few friends who live in New York . She used to take me around for shopping.

But a good thing happened that Betty knew about me and Luke . She agreed on our relationship.

So we didn't hide anything. He used to drive me university ,then back and just I text he used to be there. I hadn't noticed it before but Luke was way more protective than all other ex's of mine and most charming too.

Finally the wedding day arrived , the venue was a seclude beach situated in the outskirts of the city.

People were yet to arrive . Luke was in black tuxedo , it made him look older and mature. I could see damshells eyeing him but he was mine , proud to say it.

"Baby you are looking amazing." No sooner did he hear me complimenting , his has broke into the most alluring and innocent smile.

"Thankyou , but I'm no match to you ." He grabbed my waist and pulled me close . I was startled by his action.

"Luke..we are in public."

" Not my fault , any man will lose his control around you beautiful." He pecked on my glossy lips , it made me giggle like a child.

But we heard someone coughing to get our attention. It was William in his bridal suit.

Although I wished to run away from him , but I couldn't not , it could probably hurt him especially when it was his special big day.

"Hey , it's like you two are going to get married before I do ."I could sense pain in his tone.

" I'm sure . But I bet , I get a child sooner than you .." Luke joked and pulled me closer . Was he trying to make William jealous.

"...Yea , all the best to you two " gave the most fake smile. "  Well Luke , dad wanted you ..run for some errands."

"Really, Where ..?" Luke questioned and William pointed where their dad was talking to some influencial people. After giving me a deep kiss he , leaves us alone . Me and William.

We got engrossed in a awkward conversation after that . Soon it hit my realisation that he wasn't himself, he wasn't sober .

"I think you should head to your dais , ceremony is going to begin any moment."

" No , we have an hour like in hand " he held his hand out to grip my wrist. But I didn't let him touch me . I immediately moved back.

" I actually don't like Sue .." he mourned.

" Oh.." I shook my head"I need to go , why don't you catch up with your brother instead ." I suggested and proceeded my way away from him but the whole time he weirdly kept on staring me , I was uncomfortable , so I decided to visit the restroom and calm myself.

"  where are you moving " Luke texted.

" Just the washroom . " I texted him back.

"Ok .Be haste , I'll get you acquainted with someone. " he replied.

The bathroom was inside the hotel, few metres away from beach . The reception was almost vacant.

Inside the washroom I put on the faucet , when someone abruptly entered in.

"William what doing here !" I was aghasted "didn't you see the sign outside, you are in wrong place."

He didn't say a thing but gradually moved towards me with a guesome look on his face. My heart became restless , when he clutched my hands tightly.

" What are you doing" I shouted and tried to free myself " Leave me ."

"Kyla I'm Begging, mercy " he sobbed"I planned this wedding , I never wanted Sue ."

He paused and continued to reveal his  plot which he framed" I was jealous of seeing you with Luke, I'm regretfully for what I did. And ...and this wedding is fake just to make you jealous. I know, Kyla you still want me ."

He put himself closer to me ,began sniffing me and clutched me harder which was bone breaking.

"Let's get out of here, Kyla ."

"You are out of mind Will." I shouted and shoved him away.

"Why don't get this Kyla." He pushed me harder ,I hit myself from the wash basin and fell down.

The fear had gripped me that I didn't even realise pain . The flood was drenched, the water was running and the door was shut , no one could help me . He stood in front of me but I wasn't looking at him. I was in tears begging him to leave me.

"It's all your fault now , you made me do this ." Saying this, he took off his black blazer and op-ed his fly. He stoop low cupped my face up . He wasn't human that time , his eyes was of a feind.

" Please.....W ...w...Will , please" I couldn't say anything , he began to tousel my tied braid. At same time passionately snoggled me.

" Hey Kyla , are you inside ." Luke knocked " why are you talking so long ? "

I wished I could shriek , but I was valved by William with his huge hand. He knocked few more time then silence prevailed until with a bang , the door broke opened.

Luke was raged and got William by collar , hit his head on the mirror then punched him turning it into a massive fight. But soon his kith and kin seperated them . Luke was anguished at same time remorseful, he embraced me and said something.

As soon as I got back to my feet , I puked blood . And the pain was unbearable.
