Ever since Ace and Tess bonded over their "study" date they started to hang out more whenever they had some free time as the days went by. Ace managed to convince his friends to be nice to her once he told them they were finally getting along and had gotten a bit close. At this point Ace had forgotten about the real reason he was getting close to Tess and just enjoyed spending time with her. The other students on campus was shocked to see them hanging out so much and some started to think that they had become a couple. After hearing others talk about it, Ace was considering asking Tess if they could become an official couple. He thought the best time to ask her was during the party that was happening at the start of spring break. It was a Thursday and spring break was just around the corner but most of the students still had to attend classes before spring break could officially start for them. Ace, Josh, and Kat were the only ones in their friend group to finish their last class for the day and they were already wanting to get out.

"How much longer until this class is over..?" Josh mumbled.

"We have about..fifteen minutes left," Kat muttered as he glanced at the clock.

Josh let out a small annoyed sigh and leaned back in his seat as he tried to listen to the professor's lecture. Ace on the other hand could hardly focus on the lecture and was his thoughts were mostly revolving around Tess. He was extremely nervous about asking her if they could become an official couple and he wasn't sure what she thought about the rumors the other students have been spreading about them. When they had to do their presentation for their project in their first class together he nearly let his nerves get the best of him and almost made a fool of himself in front of the whole class. They both got a good grade on their project but that didn't really ease his nerves that much. He was suddenly pulled out of his thoughts when he heard the professor speak up and diverted his attention to him.

"Alright everyone, I hope you all have a great break and I'll see you all in a week," he said with a smile.

Everyone started packing up their stuff and they all left the classroom. Ace trailed behind his friends as they left and they looked back at him with confused looks.

"You doing alright back there Ace?" Kat asked.

"Huh? Oh yea, I'm fine," he said as he looked at them.

Josh and Kat gave each other a look before looking back at their friend.

"Are you sure? You were hardly paying attention in class," Josh said. "You seemed distracted by something."

"Do you want to talk about it?" Kat asked as he raised an eyebrow.

"N-Not really, it's kind of personal.." Ace said as he rubbed his neck.

His friends wanted to press him to get an answer out of him but they knew that probably wouldn't work so they just let it be for now. Once they left the building they made their way back to their dorms to meet up with the rest of their group to discuss what they'll do during spring break. They walked past the student center and saw a banner hanging above the doors that was advertising the spring break party that was happening much later in the day inside the building. Ace kept his eyes on the banner until they passed the building and he immediately started getting nervous again. They eventually got back to the dorms and saw their friends hanging out beside a bench and they smiled when they saw them.

"Hey you three!" Milky greeted. "How was your last class for the day?"

"Boring, I couldn't focus at all.." Josh groaned.

"Well at least we're all on spring break now," Apple said. "Now we can have all sorts of fun without having to worry about this school stuff for a week!"
