Weeks have gone by and Ace hasn't been the same since Tess' death. He isn't that nice to anyone anymore besides his friends but there are times where he gives them a nasty attitude. They don't appreciate the attitude he gives them but they know he's hurting and still believes that it was his fault that Tess died. Josh and Kat did their best to cheer him up but nothing they did seemed to work that well and was still in a bad mood. Despite being in a bad mood all the time he was able to do his job with other students on campus just so he wouldn't get in trouble. Before he knew it the day for he and his friends to go back to Hell had finally arrived and he was actually relieved since he didn't think he could handle staying in the human world any longer. Over time he had forgotten about Tess and started to act like his old self again but not entirely. He still gave others attitude but not everyone seemed to care since it was Hell.
It was an ordinary day in Hell and Ace was walking around the city since he was bored and had nothing better to do. As he walked around he noticed that there were some posters strewn about on the building he was walking by so he decided to stop and take a look at them. The posters mostly adveristed some sort of drug or club but there was one that was completely different. It had a picture of a sea urchin demon that had one eye and she was wearing an outfit that looked vaguely familiar to him but he couldn't remember where he saw that outfit before. He shook away the thought and noticed that the poster said that she was having a concert in a plaza nearby that appeared to be starting soon.
"A concert huh?" he said to himself. "Guess it wouldn't hurt to go check it out."
He made his way over to the plaza and saw that a large stage had been set up in the center and a large crowd had already gathered around it. It looked like the concert was getting ready to start so he arrived just in time and joined the crowd. After a few minutes the stage lights turned on and the crowd started to get excited when the demon girl walked on stage holding a dark purple electric guitar and she smiled when she saw how excited the crowd was.
"Hey you sinners! You ready to rock?!" she said.
The crowd cheered while Ace looked slightly confused since the demon somehow sounded familiar to him. The music started up then the demon started played her guitar and the crowd started dancing along to the beat. Not long after she started playing she began to sing and it took a few seconds for Ace to recognize who the demon really was. She was none other than Tess that died all that long ago by getting hit by a car. Seeing her again brought back all the memories he had with her and he felt himself get a little emotional. Not only that but he started to question why she was in Hell in the first place. So many things were going through his head that he could hardly pay attention to the concert and before he knew it Tess was about to finish her last song for the show. She sang the last word in her song and strummed the last cord on her guitar then the crowded cheered loudly which made Tess smile even more than she was before she started performing.
"Did you all have a good time tonight?!" she yelled.
The crowd cheered more and she looked incredibly happy as she laughed a little.
"Great! If any of you want an autograph then come meet me backstage!" she said.
She got off the stage then went backstage and most of the crowd followed her a second later while the rest left the plaza. Ace didn't know what to do at first but then he thought maybe he could confront her and get some answers so he went backstage to see her surrounded by fans and giving them autographs. He watched from a distance as the crowd got smaller until there was one person left who was taking a picture with her. Once they got the picture they left and Tess went to a table to put her stuff away. Ace took a deep breath then he walked over to her and gently tapped her on the shoulder.
