Kusanagi Izumo x Reader

You are a regular at HOMRA's bar. It was an autumn afternoon when you walked to that bar. As you walked in, you heard a familiar voice.

"Afternoon, (y/n)-chan~"

"Oh, afternoon, Izumo"

You sat near him as usual.

"(Y/n)-chan, what do you want to drink?"

"Just like usual.."

He smiled, "You're really interesting. You come to my bar just for a glass of juice. People usually order cocktails. You're different from the others.."

You smiled back as you thought, 'He always flirts with girls for business. It's a common thing if he flirts with me like that.'

A while later, Izumo looked at the clock, "Eh? It's already 5 p.m.? Hey, (y/n), do you want to go for a walk?"

"Okay.."

You started to walk with him along the street while many leaves fell in brown and orange colors.

"Izumo, look at those leaves.. Aren't they beautiful?"

"Yeah. Well, I'm so happy that I can walk around with you.."

You blushed slightly, "Why?"

"Because I feel something different when I'm with you."

And there it is. An awkward silence. You took a glance at your watch and it's already 6 p.m.

"Umm.. Izumo, I think I should go home now.. It's almost dark."

"Okay then, I'll walk you home."

After a few minutes walking, you're finally arrived at your house.

"Thanks for today, Izumo"

He chuckled, "It's okay.. Let's walk together again next time"

~time skip~

It has been a week since you walked together with him. Lately you've been so busy and didn't have time to go to his bar.

Another week has passed, and finally you have some free time to go to the bar. You were about to get into the bar when you found a close sign on the door. Suddenly, you heard his voice behind you, "(y/n)-chan, I've been waiting for you"

You're surprised and turned back, "Izumo?"

He smiled, "Afternoon, (y/n)-chan~ Wanna drink?"

You smiled back, "I just thought to buy that juice again.. It has been a long time since the last time I drank it."

"Well, you can drink it first."

He opened the door and walked in without changing the sign.

"Izumo, why don't you change the sign?"

He chuckled, "You'll find out later"

He made you a glass of your favorite juice. And since it's already winter, he didn't add any ice in your juice. You have been so thirsty that you finished it fast.

"Thanks for the drink.."

You just wanted to pay for your drink when he stopped you.

"Don't pay for it. It's no need. Come on, I want to walk with you again."

You were confused with his reaction. It's unusual that he rushed for something, but you followed him outside. You walked along the same street again and he suddenly pointed a tree in the park.

"(Y/n)-chan, look at that tree. Isn't that the tree which has beautiful leaves last autumn?"

You stared at the tree for a few minutes until you finally remember it.

"Yes.. And now it's covered in white.."

"Hey, come here."

You followed him until you reached the bottom of the tree.

"Now, look up."

You looked up and saw snow flakes fell from the tree.

"Izumo, It's so beautiful.."

"Yeah, do you like it?"

"Yes.. I like snow.."

He looked up, "I see.. The snow flakes fall slowly and they looked really soft."

You nodded. You're amazed with the view until you felt something touched your hair, and you realized that he took some of your hair.

"Your hair is really soft.. Just like the look of snow flakes falling from the sky.."

You blushed slightly and you felt your heart beat faster than usual.

He looked at your reaction and chuckled as he leaned closer. He took more of your hair and kissed it.

He whispered, "I like your hair. It's really soft... And beautiful.."

He smiled as you blushed even more, "I've been keeping this feeling for a long time you know.. But it has grew stronger and stronger that I can't keep it anymore. And I think now is the perfect time."

He leaned more closer and you suddenly felt something soft and warm on your lips. He kissed you. A passionate one.

After a while, he pulled back and smiled, "I love you, (y/n). You're my one and only. Not anyone else's."

"I love you too, Izumo.."
