You woke up as the sun rose and checked your phone hoping there's a text or call from your beloved boyfriend, Yata Misaki, since today's your birthday. You found texts from all of the members of HOMRA wishing you a happy birthday. But you didn't even find a single text nor a call from him.

'Maybe he hasn't woke up yet'

Well, it's 7 in the morning but you think it's reasonable if your boyfriend hasn't woke up yet. You know that he's tired everyday. You tried to calm yourself as you get ready to go to HOMRA's bar. Well, it's also your day off so you decided to visit the bar. As you walked on the way to the bar, you felt sadness in your heart. It's already 9 a.m. You've dated him for years and this is the first time that he forgot about your birthday.

'There's no way that he could forget about my birthday'

You thought as you continued to walk.

~time skip~

You arrived at the bar and decided to get in.

"Good morning, (f/n)-chan~ And happy birthday again~"

"Morning, Kusanagi-kun.. And thanks again"

He stared at you for a while, "You seemed a bit down.. What happened?"

"Well.. I wondered where's Misaki"

"Oh.. He's been out since morning. I don't know where he goes"

"I see.. Thanks for all of the wishes anyways.."

He chuckled, "So what do you want for drink?"

"Same as always"

"Okay~"

There were only the two of you in the bar and silence filled out the room. You kept thinking about Misaki. But the more you think about him, the more you felt sadness in your heart.

~time skip~

You've been in the bar for hours and it's already 3 p.m. when Kusanagi suddenly handed you a red box.

"Here's from Yata. He told me to tell you to open it when you've arrived home."

You grinned as you heard your boyfriend's name, "Thanks, Kusanagi-kun! I'll take my leave now. Bye~"

He just chuckled and continued his work.

You ran and after a few minutes running, you finally arrived at your house and decided to open the box. Your eyes widened as you opened it. You found a beautiful red dress and a piece of paper on it. You took the paper and read it.

'I'll pick you up at 6 p.m. So get ready and don't forget to wear the dress I've given to you'

You grinned as you read the note. You're really happy and you felt like you want to get ready immediately. You took a bath and put a make up, and also set your hair.

~time skip~

It's already 5.30 p.m. when you finished you preparation(?). You wore the red dress, red heels, and you decided to bring your red purse. But you felt that you're not ready to meet him. You still felt that you're not good enough. Until you heard someone knocked the door. You jumped and opened the door immediately.

But.

As you opened the door, you didn't see Misaki. The one who's standing in front of the door's Kusanagi.

You widened your eyes, "K-Kusanagi-kun? Why are you here?"

He smiled, "You look stunning, (f/n)-chan~ Shall we go now? I'm here to take you to your destination."

You smiled, "Thanks.. Okay let's go"

You felt hurt somehow. You expected Misaki to pick you up. You missed him so much and wanted to meet him badly. As Kusanagi drove to the place, you looked out of the window staring at the night sky.

"(F/n)-chan?"

You jolted, "Y-yes?"

"Are you alright? We're almost arrived.."

"Yeah.. I'm alright"

After a few minutes, the car stopped.

"Here it is. You just have to walk to the top of the hill and you'll find out. I have to leave now.."

You nodded and got out the car. You walked to the top of the hill as Kusanagi said. And there you found a large field full of red roses under the starry night sky. You followed the path between roses. After walking for a while, you found a red table with a love-shaped cake and red candles on it. You walked towards it. You couldn't even describe your feelings at the moment.

"Happy birthday, (f/n)"

You're suprised and turned around. Just then you found him, Yata Misaki. He wore a red tuxedo with a black shirt and red tie. He's standing there, smiling. But the smile was different. It's more gentle and warm somehow. You're speechless for a while before you hugged him tightly as you cried.

He jolted, "E-eh?! W-why are you crying?!"

You giggled, "I'm just so happy. I thought you've forgotten my birthday"

He blushed and looked away, "I-I w-won't forget a-about it.."

You laughed, "Thankyou for all of these. This is the best birthday ever! I love you, Misaki!"

His face's become all red now, "I-I love y-you too, (f/n).."

He looked deeply at your eyes. His face still red but he looked at you with serious expression. He came closer and suddenly you felt something warm on your lips. He kissed you. It's a bit rough yet passionate. You couldn't resist him and you kissed back.
Both of you pulled away after getting out of air and blushed madly.

He immediately looked away, "Y-you look b-beautiful.."

You giggled as you blushed, "Thanks.. You look great too~"

He blushed even more as he smiled a bit, "A-aren't you cold? H-here.."

He took off his tux and put it around you shoulders.

You blushed, "T-thanks.."

"T-That's n-nothing.."

You spent the whole night looking at the stars with him until the sunrise arrived. That was the best moment in your life and you want to be with him forever. Until then, both of you won't leave each other's side.
