Delilah's P.O.V
Austin caught me with the blade that Vic had given me, and even though I'd got what I wanted from it, I was sad that I wouldn't be able to use it again. James had gotten angry at me about my suicide attempt, and the last I saw of him was when he started yelling at me and stormed off the tour bus. He'd obviously gone home, but I had his phone number now, so I would call him when I thought he would be ready to talk to me again.
After sulking over the fact that Austin had taken Vic's blade, I decided to go and pay Pierce The Veil a visit before all of the buses left for the next venue. Austin didn't really care where I went anymore, because he knew that I didn't plan on doing anything while I was at Warped. As I was pacing through the maze of buses to find Pierce The Veil's bus, someone grabbed my arm and stopped me from going anywhere. When I saw his face I instantly knew who it was. It was Jack, from All Time Low.
"Hey, you're Delilah, right? I was just looking for you!" He said happily, but I was too nervous to say anything back. In all honesty, I was a huge fan of All Time Low. I didn't say anything about it to Austin in case he claimed I was a crazy fangirl, but when I really thought about it I knew he wouldn't really care at all. I was stood here with Jack fucking Barakat, one of my biggest idols, and I didn't know what to say.
"Um.. Yeah.. Hi." I mumbled, which made Jack smile a lot more.
"I knew you could talk!" He joked, and I started getting used to talking to him. I thought it would take a lot longer to get used to it, but when there are so many other bands and artists around, you realise they're just people like you.
"We didn't really talk when we met, so me and the rest of the guys were wondering if you'd like to come on our bus while we drive to the next venue. Is that cool?" I almost fainted when he said that. I felt like a total fangirl, but at the same time he wants to be friends, so friends it is.
"Yeah, I'll just have to ask Austin!" I said as cheerfully as I could.
"Sweet! I have to find Alex, but I'll talk to you later, okay?" He said with a huge smile on his face, then went searching for Alex. I couldn't believe that All Time fucking Low actually wanted to be friends with me, but I wasn't complaining. I continued towards Pierce The Veil's bus and knocked on the door, which was answered by Jaime. Me and Jaime had become really close since we'd met, he was like another brother to me.
"Hey, Delilah! How are you?" Jaime greeted me and let me inside the bus.
"Awesome, you?" I replied, and me and Jaime talked for a few minutes before Vic came out of the bunk area.
"Hey Vic, can I talk to you?" I asked, and his tired face nodded before leading me to the bunk area again. I cringed at the noises that Tony and Baylee were making in one of the top bunks, but after a while I heard them saying cute things to each other. At one point they got really loud and Vic went and shouted at them. Tony's reply was the best thing I'd ever heard.
"Is it really that bad that I'm laughing and happy with the girl I love? You should be happy that I'm not depressed anymore." Tony said, slightly offended. He wasn't angry, but he seemed annoyed at Vic. Maybe he shut him up a lot.
"I love you so much baby." Baylee said.
"Love you more!"
When that was over, Vic and I sat in his bunk and he noticed my troubled expression.
"What's wrong?" He asked.
"Remember that blade you gave me a while ago, when you were drunk?" I questioned him, and by the look on his face I could tell he didn't remember. He denied giving it to me until he realised that he didn't have it himself. Everything was silent for a few seconds before he broke down and hugged me.
"I'm sorry. I'm so sorry Del, I'm sorry." He kept repeating, over and over.
When he'd finished crying, I told him that Austin had taken the blade from me, and he seemed somewhat relieved. We tried to cheer each other up for a while before I remembered that I still had to ask Austin about travelling with All TIme Low.
"Hey Vic, I have to go. I'll see you tomorrow." I said before hugging him goodbye. I hugged Jaime on the way out too, and then ran back to the Of Mice & Men bus. Austin wasn't there, but when I called him he picked up straight away. He seemed hesitant with the idea of me travelling with four idiots and their crew, but in the end he was more than happy to allow me to go.Jack told me that he would get me from my bus so that I could find the All Time Low bus. I was still extremely excited to be spending time with them, they're one of my favourite bands. When Jack did arrive, he had the same goofy smile on his face that he always had. He led me to the bus and introduced me to everyone. He really didn't have to, but I didn't protest either. They all seemed really excited to see me for some reason, but I don't think they were nearly excited to see me as I was to see them.
Since it was a seven hour trip to the next venue, we killed time by watching all of the Home Alone movies, since they were Jack's favourite. We still had three hours to kill, so we played Mario Brothers and talked a lot. At one point, Alex, Rian, and I had stopped playing, and Jack, Zack, Vinny, and Matt were all playing. This gave Alex and Rian a chance to get to know me, for some reason they wanted to.
They asked me why I did what I did to get me here, so I told them everything. This time, I told them about my mother and brother as well. They both looked really concerned and exchanged glances a few times while I was telling them everything. When I'd finished, I'd noticed that the others had stopped playing Mario Brothers and were listening to everything I said. I hated this much attention, but I didn't want to annoy them. I'd looked at everyone to see their mouths open in shock and a concerned look on each of their faces. Nobody really said anything, but I could see Alex was almost crying. He hugged me tightly and when he was hugging me he whispered in my ear.
"Don't ever give up, because your family is with us now. Austin, Vic, Jaime, Kellin, you name it. We're all your family, not that pathetic excuse of a dad." He said quickly, and when he stopped hugging me I stifled a few sobs. Everyone seemed to notice this and there was a huge group hug around me. I giggled at them all and everyone cheered up a bit.
"OKAY WHO'S READY FOR PENIS POKEY?" Jack screamed, and everyone cheered, except for Rian.
"Excuse me but we have an underage girl on the bus this is not a good idea!" He laughed, which was kind of true.
"No, it's okay. You play your penis games, I have to make a phone call anyways." I laughed, and sat on the other side of the room and whipped out my phone. Everyone kind of shrugged and started playing whatever the fuck penis pokey was, while I dialed the number for my brother. This was the third time I'd tried him since he stormed off the bus. No answer. I sighed and pretended to play on my phone, when I was really just tapping the screen aimlessly. I thought I was alone until I heard a voice next to me that I hadn't heard at all today.
"You know sometimes if you actually do something with your phone you don't die of boredom." They said with a giggle, and I turned around to see it was Zack.
"I'm not dying of boredom." I said, pretending to be occupied by absolutely nothing.
"And you're not dying any time soon either, okay?" He said with a smile. I just shrugged.
"Why aren't you playing the penis game with them?" I asked, and this time he shrugged.
"I'm not a sexual predator like they are. I don't enjoy things like this." He laughed, straightening up in his seat. "Do you wanna watch a movie in the other room or something?" He asked, and after looking at all the others for a second, I nodded quickly and we basically sprinted to the other lounge. We ended up playing Call Of Duty for the rest of the trip, every ten seconds one of us would scream "Die holy fuck!". I knew I was gonna be great friends with these guys.
