no one pov

taehyung typed away on his phone, a constant smile sweet on his lips. eyes staring at the screen, with its brightness way to bright for the dim lighting of his room.

as he was busy conversing with the ravenette over simple yet sweet texts. a loud, and very interrupting knock was heard at his door. making the dirty blond boy jolt, startled.

looking up taehyung saw hoseok peek his head through with a sweet, yet slightly irritated smile.

"you know the whole point of a sleepover is for everyone to hang out, right? not you being alone in your room, while we all watch a movie." the brunette rolled his eyes.

taehyung copied his action. "oh, whatever. im coming, one second." taehyung said, smiling back at his phone when he felt a slight vibration in his hand of another one of jungkooks texts.

hoseok raised an eyebrow at the boy. "ok. but hurry up, theres a perfect spot on my lap waiting for you." the boy teased. taehyung glanced at the older and giggled slightly.

"alright, one second." he said, typing a goodbye message to jungkook.

when he finally saw the older send a final goodbye, he smiled to himself, and shut off his phone. letting it fall on his bed and jumping up to hoseok.

"see. didnt take that long." taehyung rolled his eyes. "whatever. just come on. were watching spiderman." hoseok said cheerfully. he didnt even like marvel movies. but he agreed to watching it because.

one, he wasnt about to fight jin on a decision. and two, he got to look at tom holland in like, almost every scene. why would he say no?

"ooh! yey. lets go." taehyung opened the door more and skipped out.

hoseok chuckled at the boy and tackled him until taehyung was awkwardly in his arms. then proceeding to toss the boy onto the soft couch. resulting in a pouty taehyung.

"what was that for?" taehyung huffed as hoseok sat next to him. the other two too busy staring at zendaya to care at the sudden question.

"get that stupid silly smile off your face. hmm? you looked like a crazy person." hoseok teased again. taehyung playfully hit his shoulder.the dramatic brunette winsed in pain.

"im not a crazy person. im just happy."

"oh yeah? about what?" hoseok chuckled, his eyes staring at the screen while still holding the conversation.

taehyung stayed silent and shoved a mouth full of microwave popcorn in his mouth. "secret." he muffled through chewing.

hoseok glanced at the younger and let out a single breathy laugh. using his fingers to playfully push taehyungs upper body to the side. the two then focusing on the movie.

though, taehyung still couldnt hold back his smile while chewing. the thought of hanging out with jungkook sounded fun. he was excited to make a new friend.

-

meanwhile, in a familiar ravenettes bedroom.

jungkook chuckled as taehyung sent his last text. after staring at it for a while, he chucked his phone aside, the screen fading black after a few seconds of being ignored.

though jungkook didnt notice, sliding back on his pillows as he stared up at his ceiling, a soft smile on his lips, as his bright doe eyes stayed open.

the boy lay still on his decently sized bed. not a twin, but not really a queen either. what ever the inbetween size was. covered with old grey blankets and comforters hes had since he was like twelve.

he couldnt be bothered to get new ones when he moved out of his moms house.

soon realizing he was way too deep over his head in the pool of giddy smiles, he chuckled to himself and sat up abruptly.

looking around his room while ruffling his messy hair - that he hadnt washed in like 3 days, but whos counting? - . in the dim lighting of his room, at the moment only lit by blue and white LEDs that wrapped around his ceiling, he took in the details of his simple room.

i mean, it was really just his bed, a desk that held his pc and stuff, a gaming chair to go with it. then his playstation on the ground next to the small stand holding his tv, which he played off of.

other than that there was his closet. but that was really all. other than the random posters and printed pictures he still kept from highschool. that was all.

it was simple, but he liked it.

but ignoring that for right now, jungkook decided he was hungry. trying to forget the image of a cute dirty blond boy, the ravenette stood up and made his way to the small kitchen attached to his living room.

making himself a bowl of lucky charms cereal, as there was nothing else to eat. he chomped down on said food while staring off in the distance.

eyes soon peering out of the glass sliding door that lead to the small balcony of his flat. the shades were mostly closed, but just enough open in the middle for him to see outside.

the view of other buildings and people outside. all illuminated by street lights and the man made brightness of certain buildings. people bustling around in the setting sun of the evening. the sun, almost completely set by now. the sky slowly turning from painted stripes of orange to a watercolor of purple and blue.

jungkook smiled softly.

he liked this time of day. it was pretty.

just like someone he knew.

well... sort of knew. he hoped he would get to know him better soon.
