1.0 written chapter: a new life

no one pov

"now, as im sure everyones been waiting for. lets introduce our guest for todays interview." the voice of a middle aged man with a soft smile, and neatly combed hair was heard, the camera directly on him as he spoke.

"you all know him. hes broken numerous national and world wide records. giving a new face for kpop through out the world. everyone welcome, jungkook!" the man clapped as the camera cut to a male walking up the small stage like set. 

"ah, hello." jungkook waved to the camera, bowing to the interviewer. smiling as he sat down on the comfy chair next to the said man.

"wow, jungkook. welcome. its great to have you here." the man spoke, jungkook held a bright smile on his face. "thankyou. its great to be here." the male said, hand lifting to fix the collar of his designer blazer.

"now, of course i wanted to congratulate you on this special day." the man said, jungkook let out a soft laugh. "ah, thankyou." he said lightly, bowing slightly in his seat.

the interviewer got comfortable in his seat. "its been a whole two years since your debut single, euphoria. right?" the man asked, though it was more rhetorical.

jungkook hummed. "yes. today marks two whole years with my goldens." jungkook joked, giving a finger heart to the camera. the interviewer chuckled along.

"since today marks the two year anniversary of your debut, i thought we could chat about the record breaking song." the man started resisting his lines. jungkook acted along. being natural as ever.

"of course, of course." jungkook said, brushing the hair out of his eyes gently. 

"now. whats amazing about this song, is that is was posted before you were even in a record. and it blew up instantly. did you ever expect all this to happen after you uploaded it?" the man asked.

jungkook let out a breathy chuckle. "honestly. no. after i uploaded the song, i remember being so shocked at how much attention it was getting. and then when big hit asked me to sign with them. i think it really went by so fast. but i couldnt be happier." jungkook said, smiling into the camera.

the interviewer smiled with a hum. "and you wrote and composed the original version of the song all by your self, correct?" the man asked.

jungkook nodded. "i did. before the studio released version was made after i signed with big hit. the backing track was just piano and some sampled instruments i could find. still dont know how i did it with out any of the equipment im grateful i have today." jungkook joked lightly, chuckling.

"speaking of that, do you still play the piano?" the interviewer asked. jungkook hummed. "a bit. i mean, i didnt really play much when i made euphoria either. i learned back in middle school. but it does come in handy when composing." jungkook spoke. taking a sip of the water that was sat on the coffee table table for him.

"im sure. in all of your work so far, you have been confident in taking part in a lot of the writing and composing. for example 'lost stars' backing track in your mini album 'young love'." the man spoke.

jungkook hummed. "ah, yes. thankyou." jungkook said sheepish.

"you've had one mini album and a few singles so far in your career. alot of the style you have is what some of your fans like to describe as 'soft and love struck', do you think you'll ever drabble in different genres or styles?" the man asked.

jungkook hummed ot himself. "well.. i shouldnt spoil anything now should i?" he spoke, smiling as he winked in the camera. the interviewer laughed heartdly at jungkooks actions.
